Sleek and Shiny but Disappointing.

Overall not a bad vibrator for sex toy new comers, and a good addition to any collection, but not strong enough or varied enough for those who'd like their vibrator to go the extra mile for them without the extra work.

I bought this as a last minute resort after finally over using my favorite toy, and have been stuck between contentment and disappointment.

I have problems with arousal and orgasm, so vibes are an important part of my sex life right now, so I was desperate to get a new vibrator before having sex again. So one night while in a sudden mood, my boyfriend and I dashed to get a new toy, and this is what I ended up getting after a few comparisons.

At first it seemed promising, but that didn't last too long.

I tried it out in the car on the way home, just as a tease for him, wrapping it in the fabric from my skirt to keep it from touching my skin (other people hold and touch toys in the store all the time), and caressing myself with it. I knew right away it wouldn't be strong enough.

I like vibes with a whole lot of oomph. This isn't one of them.

Aesthetically, this Slimline vibrator|Stormy slimline vibrator is fairly eye catching. The look is sleek and pretty with a dulled silver color with raised, shiny etchings that give it an almost classy look (and supposedly provide extra sensation) that definitely caught my eye, and the feel is smooth.

As far as the outside goes, however, it seems to be overly cheap. After the first use I could see wear in color; scratches and worn down areas. I'd expect that after a few uses, but not after the first.

A side note about the batteries. Mine takes two AAA batteries (I think some use only one), and there's not a problem with that, but you have to make sure to twist the battery cap on really, really tight or it won't turn on. I didn't realize this at first and thought it was broken.

When it comes to power, this promised more than it delivered. It's multi-speed but to me there barely seems to be a difference between the lowest speed and the highest. The vibrations seem great for someone who's new to vibrators and not used to the massive shocks to the clit that some vibrators|Hitachi magic wand review have. It provides enough sensation to get anyone's arousal going, definitely, but I'm not sure that it could take you all the way to orgasm (without a whole lot of time and effort), unless you have a very sensitive clitoris.

The SlimLine vibrator is also advertised for internal and anal play, I don't often use vibrators for internal play and I'm not yet into anal play, so I can't offer much in those departments.

I'm glad I added this to my collection, and hope to use in more in the future for arousal purchases, but I don't think this one ever will be on my top list.

Yeah, I know what you mean about it seeming cheap. I personally find those "etchings" to make it look even more cheap, but hey.

Those etchings are strange. From the picture, they almost look like cracks in the vibe!

I'd suggest trying the Waterproof Turbo Glider Blueberry.  Durable, waterproof, and really packs some serious power, even on 2 AA's.  No coating to scratch up or come off, either.

It has no base, so not actually safe for anal penetration.
