The Curvy Power Stud is made for vaginal penetration and thrusting. However, the vibrations are powerful enough to use for clitoral stimulation, and the base is wide enough for more ADVANCED anal thrusting or vibrating P-spot stimulation. (Use a condom for anal.) I have found this to be a great all-around toy.

The main material for the actual vibrator is Phthalates-free PVC. This only rates a 2 on the material safety rating because it is so porous. If you plan on sharing this toy or using it for anal penetration, use a condom. Always wash well before and after use with antibacterial soap or your favorite toy cleaner.

There is the PVC smell but it isn't as strong as the Sil-a-gel. It has a plastic bitter/tangy taste to it. If you use it orally, I recommend either flavored condoms or a flavored lubricant to cover the smell and taste. The manufacturer recommends water based lubricants, but I noticed the material dries out again fast. Personally, I have plenty of natural vaginal lubricant but I noticed a big drag with use. I didn't mind it at the time, but if you are sensitive you may not like it. A few hours later I noticed sensitivity.

The material is flexible; you can pinch it and bend it and it snaps back to shape. There is a hard motor core in the middle for the delicious vibration and added firmness.

The design is wonderful. It is shaped like a realistic curved penis, so it is curved and ridged with veins on the top of the "penis" and smooth on the outside of the curve/underside of the "penis." The only thing that makes it not realistic is the color purple and some missing contours on the underside of the "head/penis".

Because of the curve and how it widens as you go from the tip to what I am calling the first base, it makes taking measurements difficult, but feels divine. The first base is wider (measurements below) and, depending on your body shape, may or may not be inserted. It is here that it allows for wonderful stimulation of the labia and outer ring of the vagina.
The curve is made to match the curve of the body. I found the size to be realistic and perfect for me as it slid past my G-spot and filled me nicely, without being uncomfortable or too much work like some of the larger toys.







I measured the shortest distance side view. If you measure along the outside of the curve you can add about .25" in surface area length: Total length = 8.5"; Total Shaft Length w/o handle = 6.5" Insert-able Length = 4.75" depending on body shape could be 5" (See above.)
Because it is naturally shaped and curved the diameter varies from front to side view. The smallest being 1.25" just under the head front view, to just under 2" before the first base. The circumference just under the head is 4.5", just before the base it is 5" and at the first base it is 6". The larger or second base is 2.25" in diameter and 6.5" in circumference.

It takes 2 AA batteries and the compartment is not set up correctly. It looks like you are suppose to put both batteries in with the + side up because the springs are inside the body. However, you need to flip one around. It is not marked, and though it came with a paper showing battery compartments and how to use them, it was not the same model.

The vibration control button is placed on the side of the plastic base. You need to press with a little effort, which is nice because it won't accidentally change speeds on you. The first press starts the lowest setting, the second press is the middle setting, the third press is the strongest (wow) setting, and the fourth press shuts it off. It gets louder with each escalation and can easily be heard through the covers. Because I was listening for it I could hear it through the closed door, but I am not sure if everyone would be able to. I would be careful if at a motel with thin walls, or if a kid was sleeping right next door.

I was really surprised how strong the vibrations were. I usually am not able to have a clitoral orgasm with a larger vibrator because the vibrations don't seem to be strong enough or directional enough. Not a problem with the Power Stud!!! The vibrations were powerful enough for a clitoral orgasm, AND went down the shaft and to the base so I was stimulated from tip to G-spot to labia. Very nice!

It states that this toy is waterproof. However, after cleaning and rinsing the toy under running water then drying with a towel, I removed the battery cap and noticed moisture at the seam of the cap before the gasket. It did not get into the actual compartment. So I believe that it might be ok for the shower, but I wouldn't completely submerge it.

As stated above, you can clean it with normal or antibacterial soap and water, or with your favorite toy cleaner. There are a lot of ridges and you will want to pay particular attention to where the base meets the battery cap. There is a groove there that is a little harder to clean and lubricant/soap will want to stick there. I went back with a cotton swab. After cleaning and drying, remove the cap and the batteries to make sure it is dry before storing, keeping the batteries separate. I recommend storing in its original box. It isn't as sensitive as silicone, and doesn't collect a lot of lint like silicone, but it is best to keep these things covered and hygienic.

The box the "Waterproof Power Stud Curvy" comes in is long and narrow with a picture of the toy on the box and the name in huge letters. Not discreet. The sides and the back have copyright and disclaimer information along with the cleaning, storage, and production information. The manufacturer's website is on the back.

When you open the box there is a plastic bag that is taped closed with the toy and battery compartment sheet of paper. Of course the pictures showing the batteries do not have this model pictured. Everything can be recycled, but I like using the box and bag for storage.

I gave this toy 4 out of 5 stars because of the price, wonderful shape, size and power. It felt so good and is so versatile. I took away one star for PVC, difficulty in cleaning, poor battery set up, and the fact that I don't believe it to be completely waterproof. Even if the water didn't get all the way into the battery compartment, it did get under the cap. I thought about taking another star away, but for the price it worked wonderfully. If it was made of a better material like silicone, it would be twice as expensive.

As usual, for the trial run I used the Power Stud alone while my Sir watched and gave direction from his comfy chair. He started me out using it orally since he likes to watch. Do you know how hard it is to pull your own hair and force a deep throat? It hit the back of my throat nicely and caused my eyes to water just a bit, but wasn't sharp or bruising. I wasn't happy with the smell or the taste, so next time I'll get flavored lube. Once he participated a minute to make sure I had enough natural lube,(thank you Sir), he went back to his chair, had me on my back and told me to go at my own pace vaginally. I mentioned above how much I enjoyed it. The shape was delicious and hit me in so many spots and the vibrations.... WOW!!!

Next, He handed me a condom and lubricant and asked me to use it anally. (Disclaimer here: Anal is a regular part of our play and I do NOT recommend beginners to start with anything this size. There are training plugs for you.) Because the base is nice and wide this makes a safe, albeit LARGE, anal thrusting toy. My first attempt was painful due to angle, size, and I think I may have clenched. So I waited a moment and changed position to a spoon style. I added more lubricant and, because it is firm enough, I had no problem sliding it right in. I will admit, it was very large and filling and it made me forget to turn on the vibrator function. The key here is smaller thrusts, but still BIG sensations. Oh how I wished for a prostate at that moment.

When we were done I threw away the condom and cleaned it as I mentioned above. It was then I realized that I hadn't tried it on my clitoris and with such strong vibrations I was curious if it would work; it usually doesn't. So on my back I went and up to the highest setting the Stud went. It was so strong that my outer labia when numb, but my clit was very, very happy. The End.
