These "oh so pretty" Opulent Pearls are used as an aid to strengthen the pubococcygeus (PC) muscles when doing kegel exercises. To use these pearls is very easy. Insert the two balls into the vagina and squeeze. It may take some practice to keep them from falling out. But that is the point to benefit from these pearls, to control them and keeping them inside. The pearls can also be left in during sex for added pleasure.

According to the product information, it's possible to orgasm with these; but it does state that it might not work for everyone, so keep that in mind when deciding on these. Personally, these did not give me an orgasm themselves nor pleasure during sex.

These pearls are plastic with weights inside. You can see a seam on the pearls. You can feel this with your fingers but not when there placed inside. The Opulent pearls are latex/phthalates free and body safe.

One thing that I really like about this item is that it is very appealing to the eye. The case is a pretty pearlescent clam shell with matching pearlescent balls inside. There are two nubs to push open the shell. Inside the shell there is a thin plastic stand to hold both the balls. I would suggest these pearls are more for advanced users. These pearls are smaller then the normal Ben Wa Balls; which some may prefer, but it makes them harder to hold inside. With bigger balls you can feel them better inside, so you know what muscles you are contracting.

I only got these for doing kegels so I didn’t expect much. After trying them out, all they are good for is exercising the PC muscles. I could feel the two balls inside when I squeezed, but as in any ‘work out’ you have to stick with it to fully benefit from them. As I walked around the house, I found that if I bent down or went up a step that’s when I really needed to squeeze the pearls. I lost one a few times, but that’s the whole point of these. The first couple of times using these I could wear them for about 45 minutes before feeling worn out and my muscles needed a break.

The Opulent Pearls are one of the easiest products to care for. After use, wash them off with soap and water or a toy cleaner and place them back into the shell. If needed, these can be used with water based or silicone lubricant.

The Opulent pearls came in a small box, with a picture of the item and a lady on a beach on it. I wouldn't recommend re-gifting the box. The shell is very pretty, the plastic piece inside can be removed to use the shell for something else (I.e. jewelry).

If you have more penitence then I do, I would recommend adding these as an exercise routine or even use during yoga.

After a few tries with the pearls I would rather look at them then use them; so I use the shell to hold other items. I also left these in while having sex, for me they were uncomfortable. I'm petite so there wasn't much room to fit these and my partner. At times it hurt when the pearls where pushed against my cervix.
