These shorts make for an extremely sexy look that my partners have just loved. And while the overall look is great, there are a few shortcomings that make these shorts best for short-term wearing only. The first thing I should note is that while the material is of an excellent quality and is quite comfortable, it does not breathe very well. Also, while the zipper is quite fun, it can be painful, uncomfortable, and occasionally zips open on its own. Also, the pouch does a great job of making the package look larger; it is very confining when an erection is gotten. Less these few shortcomings, these shorts would be great for long-term use. However, for short-term use the shorts are great and sexy but are a slightly overpriced option.

Material:
The shorts are made out of a nylon spandex material and are solid black in color with a slight sheen to them when placed under light. They have a smooth feel to them which will complement any body type nicely. This fabric is very comfortable and will contour to the shape of your body without being overly confining, for the most part (see fit). The zipper on these is made of metal and has a slightly oily look about it. The metal for the ring as well as its attachment to the zipping mechanism is very thin and has a cheap and fragile feel about it. I have not broken it yet, but it seems as though, with any rough play, it will snap right off.

Fit:
The overall fit of these shorts is good. The fabric is stretchy and forms to the body well. There is a single stitch down the back side which allows for the shorts to contour to the shape of the user’s ass. There is a pouch that holds the genitals out in front making them more prominent, and when worn under clothing, larger. However, the pouch also can be confining. More than once I have found myself aroused while wearing these. It should be noted that the pouch does not stretch very well and I find myself having to deal with all kinds of discomfort until my erection subsides. Another shortcoming of the pouch is that the zipper occasionally unzips by its self. I find this to be more of an issue when sitting down or when moving around a lot and it only became a problem after a few months of use as the zipper started to wear out. Also, the material the shorts are made from does not breathe well. After wearing the shorts for any prolonged periods of time, I find myself getting sweaty around my genitals and butt crack.

Also, the zipper on these shorts is very sharp and dangerous. I have gotten the skin of my penis shaft caught in it one time and it was an extremely painful event. Also, when I have pubic hair, I commonly have to check and make sure that all of my hair is pushed down or it will end up poking through the zipper teeth.

With a few modifications, these shorts would be well suited for long-term use. Firstly, to avoid having someone’s penis shaft getting caught in the teeth of the zipper or pubic hair finding its way through the teeth, a small flap could be installed which folds under the teeth, much like the one found on jeans. Also, the pouch area, and only the pouch area, could be made of slightly more stretchy material. This would make the shorts more accommodating if an erection was gotten. The material would also need to be modified to allow the skin to breathe.

Price:
The price currently listed is $18.99. This is a little on the mid-to-higher end of what I see men’s underwear selling for. However, had the zipper been executed better, I could justify the higher price. But as the zipper is cheaply made, the shorts wear out fast and I have trouble justifying the price. Had they been around the $12.99 price range I could consider them a better value.

Final Thoughts:
Because there are several shortcomings of these shorts (pun intended), I find the purchase of them hard to recommend. They are only comfortable when worn in the short-term. And while being cheaply made, they are selling at a mid- to high-end price. The build quality just does not justify the price as the zipper wears out too fast. When it comes down to the final decision, I think there are better products out there at this price point and would recommend against these.

I thought I would include a little more about the fit here. I am a size 32 waste and consider myself of an average size ~7.5 inches and the size shorts I ordered were small/medium. The waist band fits a little snug but is still comfortable. If I had any larger a waist I would think that they were to tight would have probably preferred a larger size. Also, the pouch up front is a bit on the confining side. It is comfortable until I become erect and then it just must be unzipped. I made the mistake of wearing them to school one day and had a random erection… It was just not fun; I was in all kinds of uncomfortableness and found myself going to the bathroom to take them off. That, combined with the fact that the fabric does not breathe and the zipper wearing out after a month or two makes these not suitable for prolonged use. However, with that said, they are a good choice for bedroom fun.
