useful review
While the design of the stroker had its flaws, it's made out of an exceptional material that puts all other masturbators to shame.
Pros:
This masturbator is made out of 100% medical grade silicone.
Cons:
It's incompatible with silicone lubricants. It has also has rigid ridges.
The Tantus Stroker is an innovative masturbator. What sets this apart above all others is the fact it's made out of 100% medical grade silicone. Silicone is a durable, hygienic, hypoallergenic, nonporous, and phthalates free material. Being silicone, this toy can be washed by hand, boiled, bleached with a 10% solution, or washed in the top shelf of a dishwasher (sans detergent). While this stroker sounds like it's built for battle, like Achilles it has a weakness: its incompatibility with silicone lubricants.
For most guys, not being able to use silicone lubricant wouldn't be a big deal. Most men couldn't tell you the difference between water-based or silicone lubricant, some guys would even admit to not using any at all. To me, it's of great importance. I love silicone lubricant, the texture and the longevity of it make it far superior than any water based lubricants I've tried. Upon receiving this silicone sleeve I realized I had to take caution, which unfortunately meant starting back at square one and finding a water-based lubricant that wasn't too runny or too absorbent. I couldn't find one.
Using the sleeve took some getting used to. While every bit of information I've come across about this stroker has claimed that it's soft, I'm here to tell you the one I received wasn't. It was hard, very hard. The inside ridges were stiff, there wasn't any flexibility when stroking this up and down on my cock. While it stretched a little in length as I worked it with my hand, the inside bumps were just too rigid and almost impassable. I'm not an overly sensitive guy but after using this the head of my penis was red and raw. I found the outer shell of it softer to the touch but the inside was most definitely not as advertised on the manufacturer's website.
It's meant to simulate vaginal contractions. While the ridges felt slightly painful, they did indeed simulate a realistic vaginal experience. The front ridge is tighter than the others, it's designed to stimulate the head of your penis and to pull your cock into the rest of the sleeve where you're met by a looser tube. This isn't a slim fit hole, it's actually fairly wide. Unlike all the other masturbators I've tried, this isn't a hole you have to struggle to fit your cock into, it's an easy tube to glide into. The only issue with the tube is the hard ridges.
Tantus' own unique silicone blend is far superior to any other sex toy material I've come across; and while this masturbator was designed to take an absolute beating, I found the ridges too rigid and the overall feel of the toy too hard for pleasurable masturbatory play.

While the inside ridges haven't softened I'm still hoping they will so I can finally enjoy this high quality silicone stroker.

Anyone had a better experience with the tantus stroker?Tantus is an amazing company, virtually every item i see of theirs i will have at least one thing good to say about it. That doesn't short of the stroker. It is a great idea; soft velvety texture, rib like inner lining, and easy to clean. However...I dont like it because it doesn't have any give. most strokers will have some elasticity to be accommodating to virtually all men. The tantus stroker i feel fails in this sense. Even with lubricant, it seems as though it was made for a man requiring "snugger fit" condoms. Another problem with it is unlike most of the tantus products, it is one of the few that cannot tolerate any sort of silicone lubricant. This may not have been exactly what you were looking for, but i do hope it helps you. I'd suggest Cyberskin strokers before the tantus stroker. They're still silicone.

Finally, a pure silicone sleeve. There are bound to be better ones on the way... I think Vixen should add this product to their Vixskin line, that would probably be a better feeling.
Have you tried Maximus or Probe?
So this is how you knew Edens was getting this. I searched everywhere after your comment and was completely baffled. :)
Thanks for the review. It really was helpful. My boyfriend prefers a tighter fit, so I may wait a little while longer to see if another company releases a silicone sleeve before Christmas.
I haven't tried Maximus or Probe.. I just pick up whatever my wife stashes beside the bed. What are their stand out qualities CW?
It's a snug fit, perhaps I should have been more descriptive. What I meant to convey in my review is that it's not a tight hole that most guys are gonna struggle or scream to get into. It's a looser tube compared to say the Tube Love Glove.
Maximus and Probe are high-quality, thicker, water-based lubes, that can give silicone lubes a run for their money. I have been using Maximus a lot lately and it has impressed both myself and my partner. I am glad to see that Eden Fantasys has picked up this product. Thanks for the great review.
Have you tested a premium quality silicone lube with the stroker? Tantus boasts their products are so Superior that a premium quality silicone lube (they suggest Eros Pjur) will not react. Just curious if you have done a spot test or not?
I haven't tried any other lube then the Emotional Bliss water based crap in the drawer of my wife's nightstand. If I was braver I would Bulma but the repercussions from my wife of melting a toy would be worse than actually damaging the toy and not being able to use it again.
Finally, a silicone sex toy for men.
Browsing around on the site a lot more silicone toys for us men have been popping up.
Thanks for the review average joe. I was wondering about this sleeve, as I love silicone toys. However, your review makes me wonder if you somehow just got "a bad one"?! I can't imagine that it's supposed to have HARD ridges inside... especially from Tantus! I have several Tantus silicone toys, and every one of them is of the utmost in quality. No such luck in the ridges softening up, huh?
