This is at least the fourth cock ring that my husband and I have played with. It's the second
gel cock ring, but it's the first
double ring cock ring.
Cock rings have different designs and can be worn in different ways.

Maximus double ring is designed to have one ring around the man's balls, and the smaller ring around the man's cock. These rings are tight but they stretched just fine. According to my husband- they actually fit better than any of the other cock rings that he's ever played with. We also got some massage oil the same night so we used a tiny bit of that to make the ring go on easier. He's had trouble with gel rings pinching skin in the past- but he said that he didn't really need the oil.
So... you want to really know how does it work. Unfortunately for us- we never did get the "bullet" to vibrate. He loved it. I couldn't really feel it. I could a bit- a different texture that was "nice." The beads? No idea. I think that they added pressure to his cock, but he didn't mention them specifically. He loved how it fit overall, but that was the extent of most of his comments.
We may have gotten a defective version of this toy, but it's hard to recommend something that doesn't work. The cock ring comes with the bullet and six tiny batteries. Only three are used. We spent a long time trying to get it operational. We tried the batteries both ways, and switched them out and used a different set of three. (This was in the morning so neither of us had any alcohol.) At one point we heard the buzz indicating that it was on, but I couldn't feel it then. After that it went silent. My husband went back and fiddled with it later and had no luck with it either.
The bullet is also awkward to place into the gel ring. It's a tight fit. We used oil there to manage it.
This product probably offers a different experience when it functions properly, but I don't know how often there is a problem with the bullet.

Yep. We actually tried it with the plastic "which way" instruction slip. Then pulled it out. I was wondering how in the heck I'd ever remember which way those batteries would fit without it. We tried the batteries upside down from the instructions. Mixed them up ever which way possible- and my husband went back and fiddled with it after sex as well. It wasn't going to happen for us.
That is sad- did you check inside for the little slip that sometimes comes between the batteries and contact point (at least it used to last I remember purchasing bullets)?

Too bad the bullet didn't work--I've had that happen once or twice, and it's very disappointing! At least it's removeable and you can use a different bullet with the ring.
