When I signed up to review the Helmet Hugger I had very high expectations! My husband is in the military and spends up to 6 months at a time by himself out on the open ocean. Once my husband arrived home we decided to try it out. The Helmet Hugger is one size fits all and is made of a nice jelly like plastic material so stretching it over his penis wasn't any trouble. After feeling the plastic material it was clear we were going to need a fair amount of lubrication. We used our favorite lube which is a cream lube used for intercourse and massage. We slathered his penis in it and even squirted a little bit inside the sleeve.

The Helmet Hugger has several nodules on the inside meant to stimulate the penis while in motion. This was the one thing about the product that made my husband a little uneasy. He made it very clear to me that he preferred a smooth feeling, but he would give it a try. We stretched the Hugger over his penis, lube oozing out of every space possible. As part of my wifely duties I began to move the sleeve up and down on his penis. For the first few moments he didn't feel a thing, he only felt suction on the tip. I was confident that the suction would bring him more pleasure than my hand or his could bring. I was wrong! The suction did nothing for him and after about 5 minutes of motion he felt zero pleasure and stated that the nodules were actually hurting him a bit.

All and all the Helmet Hugger did not work for us. The product seems great at first but it failed to perform when it came down to it. From experience I know it doesn't take much to get my husband off, so in the end the Helmet Hugger is not a product I would suggest.
