This toy was definitely designed
The
Doc Johnson massage oil was acceptable. I ordered the ginger scent for my boyfriend and me to try out. Seeing as my boyfriend is a culinary major and knows that ginger is an expensive herb, he was curious as to whether or not the oil would hold up to his high standards of what real ginger smelled like.
After cracking open the bottle of oil, the scent of ginger filled the room. The smell was absolutely amazing–and incredibly erotic. The oil did not warm, which disappointed me. I realize that this wasn't marketed as a warming lotion but I assumed that it would have warmed up after five to ten minutes of being rubbed into my body. After my boyfriend worked the oil into my back, the oil was still cold to the touch; however, it was easy to massage into me and made my skin feel slick and sexy. This is the first massage oil that my boyfriend and I have ever used so we weren't sure what to expect.
The one major downside of the oil was my boyfriend got some of the oil in a paper cut on his hand–he said it burned and really hurt. I'm not sure if the pain was due to the scent/flavor of the oil or some other ingredient. My boyfriend originally agreed to put some of the oil on his nether-regions for the review, but due to his experience with the oil and his hand he quickly declined having me give him a massage with the oil in that area. I can't say I can blame him. I can't imagine how painful the oil would be when applied to my clit or nipples!
The oil is nice, but would be a lot better if it warmed when applied to the skin.
Ginger is sometimes used in sex for the tingling/burning sensation it creates. I wonder if it was just that component that caused burning... the oil is basically just macadamia with fragrance (unfortunately they don't list the sources of specific scents).
