extremely useful review
Have you ever opened a can of vanilla cake frosting and had the urge to cover your entire body in it? This is the next best thing and won't lead to a bad case of body zits and sticky cheeks. Even though this is a higher priced body creme it is worth it and is very high quality.

The Kama Sutra product line has a reputation for being high end and high quality sensual products. Even the packaging is no exception to this. The tub of creme is double sealed for your protection. It comes in a very attractive box that is also sealed. The box and the tub do not obviously make this appear to be a product for erotic uses, but make it look more like a designer cosmetic. I would say this is more along the lines of a cosmetic rather than purely a sensual aid. The packaging, design and inconspicuous labeling make it safe to leave this out on the bathroom counter or to be stored along side your other lotions.

Since this is described as a body souffle I was expecting a whipped texture similar to a mousse. When it arrived it is more like the texture of a very thick body cream. It is much thicker than a lotion. This absorbs into the skin, leaving it silky smooth but not greasy at all.

The scent is very strong and potent in the tub. When it is being applied it is not as pleasant. After it is absorbed into the skin it improves and leaves your skin with a soft vanilla scent. This can be worn all day, as a daily skin creme. I have worn it for extended periods of time with no irritation, stickiness, or greasy residue on my skin. As your body gets warmer during exercise or work the aroma does intensify.

The product is not labeled as edible, it is labeled as kissable. There is a huge difference. If you get a huge mouth full of this straight out of the tub it will taste like lotion. If you follow the instructions and kiss or lightly lick the skin it was applied to after it is thoroughly rubbed in it does give a light, sweet vanilla flavor to the skin. This is a very nice subtle flavor that is much better than kissing skin that smells great but the flavor is not at all what the scent is.

This is also not a lubricant. No where on any of the packaging does it say it is, or recommend it for that use. I would not suggest using this directly on the vagina as it does contain glycerin and that can lead to a yeast infection. What this creme does do is give sensual, body massages a wonderful scent, leaving the skin soft and supple. This is a great item for foreplay, massage or daily use as a body creme to give your skin an amazingly realistic vanilla scent and a nice flavor for your partner to enjoy. Please remember to treat this as a lotion or regular body creme that will taste o.k. only after it is massaged into the skin, and not to use it as any form of lubrication or oral sex enhancer.
Experience
I have been using this for about a week and I can't get enough. It smells amazing on. The scent is subtle but is very long lasting. I can apply it in the morning and my skin is still scented and lightly flavored in the afternoon. It is great to use for a date applied to the neck, arms, shoulders, thighs, breasts or any where that is regularly kissed. My husband loves the scent, probably because it smells like food, but he really likes the kissable flavoring my body has when I use this too. My neck has not been kissed this much in years!!
Follow-up commentary
I have also tried the Chocolate Creme Brulee and Strawberry Creme scents of the souffle. They are both delicious!!! The chocolate is rich and tastes as good as it smells. It smells just like hot chocolate. The strawberry is sweet and creamy. It reminds me of a strawberry shake. The entire line of Kama Sutra Body Souffle is simply divine!

When you made the cake icing reference I immediately thought about putting this cream all over a cake and maybe instead of eating it, watching an unsuspecting victims reaction to the flavor… and then waiting to see if they chuck biscuits. For me, being immature is a full time gig. So thank you for clearing this up, so I don't have to wonder about what it would be like to actually eat it.

How long do you think the tub will last with daily use? It sounds wonderful!

    does this product contain gluten?

With daily use it will last about as long as a bottle of any lotion, like say from Bath and Body Works for example. The size is 7.5 oz, and Bath and Body Works products are 8oz usually.

    It does not contain gluten.

"My husband loves the scent, probably because it smells like food"--LOL!

I have to say, I'm usually leery about flavored body products, but this sounds perfect! Subtly flavored lotion... and it doesn't get sticky at all? Saccharin is basically what sweet 'n' low uses, and it's in the body souffle. But it's not technically "food energy", so can I safely assume that if I smear this all over my body and lie down on the pavement, ants won't swarm me? Promise? Hypothetical, you understand.
