Geisha's secrets collection review

While the Geisha's Secrets Collection promises hidden pleasures, I found none. My husband and I really didn’t enjoy this product. When it arrived, we were both excited to try it out. We made a date, sent the baby to the sitter's overnight, and opened a bottle of wine.

We wanted to try the desensitizing balm, and it was more like cough syrup, a very loose consistency that did not taste at all appetizing. The balm is a red color and will stain clothing and bedding, so use with care.

We both agree that the oils were great; however, there wasn’t a lot in the vials. We really like the aphrodisiac oil, and it put me in the mood right away. The oils are light and don’t have a greasy feel on your skin. They are easily absorbed by the skin and are nonstaining.

One of the best products was the Bath & Shower Tasty Gel; it says that it’s supposed to taste like “Exotic Fruits” but seems to taste more like watermelon hard candy, either way a very enjoyable flavor. The massage oil was good as well, and due to having no coloring, it is safe for use with even the most delicate of fabrics.

The edible powder was ok; not a lot of flavor but it was definitely a pleasure to apply and remove. The feather applicator, while very cute and compact, fell apart before it was taken out of the box. Luckily, we had another feather applicator from a previous purchase.

Overall, this isn’t a bad product for a couple who is just starting to explore each other in and out of the bedroom, on a long weekend, or a trip out of town. I would recommend this product for new couples but not for the more advanced couples who have been together for a while. A product that is compact for discretion and portability, it comes in its own decorative box with all the components tucked in safely to prevent damage and loss of the liquids and powders.

While pretty, compact, and discreet, this was still not one of our favorite products.
