Intimate kisses aphrodisiac oil by Shunga Erotic Art - review by ~LaUr3n~

Shunga Exotic has an amzing like of sensual body products and I especially like their massage oils. The Intimate Kisses Aphrodisiac oil is a thicker oil than others in their line, but it is just as luxurious. It comes in a gorgeous shaped glass bottle with a faux cork top that remind me of old apothecary bottles of poison and medicine elixirs. It looks stunning and the contents smell and taste great! It also has a warming property. I have the Strawberries & Champagne flavor and the organic Exotic Green Tea, but there are plenty of other flavors and scents to choose from! Since the oil is thicker it is better for a long and patient massage. It can moisturizer and add sheen to the skin.

Note that this contains glycerin which might cause UTI's in some women who are sensitive to this ingredient. That's if you use this as an oral aid. These are the rest of the ingredients:

Glycerin, Propylene glycol, Aroma, Sodium Saccharine

Intimate Kisses is much more viscose than theErotic Oil which was rather runny. It pours easily out of the bottle, but does take more liberation to rub into the skin. It also takes a while to absorb enough. The consistency is nice and not at all grainy which some glycerin containing massage oils are. At first it will feel stinky, but given enough time to blend into the skin it feels very moisturizing and silky. It never felt oily or greasy but some might not like the feel. It requires soap and water to remove.

I have other Shunga products in the Strawberries & Champagne scent, flavors even. This one isn't as great as those although it still is good. I found it to taste a bit sour, like a sour rock candy. It tastes good initially and then has a sour aftertaste. This isn't so off putting that my partner or I don't want to use it though. But actually, this is what I think Strawberries & Champagne SHOULD taste like. Champagne is a bit sour anyways. The smell is also like a strawberry candy. I love it and find that it makes me feel a bit horny. I am hesitant to say that this is the aphrodisiac since I don't think those have worked on me before...but maybe? Cool, none the less! Again, there are plenty of other choices to pick if you don't like the sound of this flavor.

I love how thick this is but I don't like that it feels icky in the process of drying. It does work well for a massage and the warming aspect is the perfect amount. it feels great on my back, lower tummy and butt-not to mention sore muscles! You can make it feel even more warm in bursts by blowing hot air on it. Amazing! The oil lasts a really long time so it is great for long intimate massage sessions. You do need to use more of this than thinner oils from Shunga since it is harder to spread out.

After it does absorb, it no longer feels sticky, but it still can be felt. For some, like my boyfriend, you might not like this feeling and will want to wash it off right away. This needs to be done with soap and water and doesn't work with just a quick rinse. Neither or us had any reaction to this even when we used it genitally for tasty oral pleasure.

The packaging is one of my favorite parts! The gorgeous shaped glass bottle comes in a cardboard cylinder with a gold metal top that pries off (like on their bath salts). It is relatively discreet with small writing and a picture of a shunga love scene on the front. The back has blurbs about the product in different languages.

The bottle is a thick glass with a lovely vintage shape. It is clear showing the vibrant deep pink oil inside. The oil is discreet too and the cylinder wasn't really needed in my opinion-only to protect the glass. The front has a small shunga picture again with the name of the product and flavor on a pretty colored band. The back lists the ingredients.

The top is a fake cork. When you receive it there is a thick plastic over this. It was a bitch to remove and gave me a painful cut. The cork fits in nicely and doesn't let any oil drip if tipped over or upside down. BUT, if stored this way, it will eventually leak a bit. So, don't just dump this in a drawer. I display mine because it is so pretty!
