Oh Edible Oils!

The best way to use this is for massages. It's long lasting, and lends itself particularly well to being kissed, licked, and nibbled after you're done, or while you're using it. It is a bit thick, and while it does leave the skin feeling soft and moisturized, it can also leave it feeling a bit sticky, so it's probably not the best choice for an all over moisturizer or as an all over massage aid unless you plan to bathe relatively soon.

Playing with a bottle of these oils reminds me of playing with a watered down syrup. It pours very nicely, and with a steady hand you can control exactly how much you get out. Since it's a bit on the thick side, it doesn't just spill everywhere. It is still runny enough that if you pour some in your hand then hold it vertical, it will still run. So keep that in mind when pouring. Between the fingers it feels nice and luxurious, and all during use it feels the same way. It does feel a bit sticky, but not really in a bad way, at least to me anyway.

This comes in a whole bunch of different flavors, including grape, chocolate, orange, mint, strawberries and champagne, vanilla, and raspberry. I have the strawberries and champagne flavor and it is just lovely. It tastes like a hard candy to me, and distinctly strawberry flavored. Think like a strawberry Jolly Rancher, it's almost exactly like that. It smells pretty close to that too. The scent isn't so strong that it'll permeate an entire room for hours and hours and hours, but once it's on you, it'll be easily smelled from a few feet away. Just a light, subtle hint to the person standing next to you that you indeed taste like candy.

For massages, this stuff was great. Right up until when we finished. It'll easily last a good 20 minute massage or more without having to add much, if any, more oil once you've started. During the whole massage it might feel a bit sticky under the hands, but on the skin it should feel pretty nice. Immediately afterwards, your hands and the skin it was applied to will feel kinda sticky. After a little while, the feeling on the skin seems to go away unless you touch it with your hands, but the hands will have to get washed off.

To get this off of you, just wash with soap and water. If it's on a large portion of your skin you might have to go take a shower, but you can also wipe large areas down with a towel and that should take care of it until you can wash it off more extensively.

While you can probably use this as a lube, don't. In fact, it probably shouldn't go anywhere near the female genitals at all, especially if that vagina is sensitive to glycerin at all.

The packaging is your typical Shunga: classy glass bottle, erotic art label, and a smaller label that wraps around the bottom of the bottle. That smaller label includes your ingredients (Glycerin, Propylene Glycol, Flavor (aroma), Sodium Saccharin, D&C Red #33, FD&C Red #40) and also includes the specific scent/flavor.

The bottle is sealed with something resembling a cork. It's not real cork, but it's definitely a stopper. I haven't personally had any problems with leakage, but I've been keeping my bottle upright. As long as you do that too, you shouldn't have any problems.

If you blow gently on the skin while using this, it creates a very pleasant warming sensation.

I got this as part of a kit over a year ago, and hadn't actually tried it until fairly recently. I'm not huge into the whole running my tongue all over somebody else thing, but I do like to leave kisses with lots of tongue in trails down my husband's body. Having used a flavored oil makes doing that even better, because now my husband tastes like candy!

I was really impressed with it for massages too. It's thicker than the other oil that Shunga offers, and seems to last a lot longer than that one does. That might be all in my head though. Either way, it does last a long time. The competitive edge over the other oil? It tastes delicious. The downside? It doesn't stay on the skin as nicely, and often requires a shower afterwards. Because of the shower factor, we don't use it quite as much as we might, but even after a few uses, I can already tell you that when this bottle gets low we'll be buying another.
