Major turn off..

I eagerly awaited this product in the mail as I expected it to be grand. It was an extreme disappointment to me. Not only did the smell make me gag, the texture was watery and it did not even last long on the skin. There is no way this spritzer could ever enhance the mood. The only good thing about this product is the fabulous bottle it comes in. Such a disappointment, it's not even worth keeping.

Use

I would recommend this Sex chakra spritzer to an introverted old person who has no sense of smell. The best use for this product is probably to just throw it away or use to freshen up fowl garbage smells in dumpsters. This Sex chakra spritzer is supposed to do amazing thing things for your mood, from helping you relax with its wonderful angelic aromas, to even arousing you and your partner. The sad thing is this product could never hold up to its expectations. It's nauseating. Also if you're allergic to any of the ingredients (jasmine, ylang ylang, sandalwood or tangerine), I'd recommend giving this spritzer a skip.

Texture / Consistency / Thickness / Viscosity

Since I got this item as a free assignment I was forced to try it out, when instead I would have liked to have discarded of it. The sprayer is a very nice touch to the bottle. It sprays evenly over the skin and makes for an easy way to apply the spritzer "oil." However, the texture is extremely watery. This is supposed to be an oil, but it feels just the same as water. This being said, it's hard to rub the stuff in. It leaves the skin a tad sticky before it dries, which takes approximately 15 seconds.

Taste / Aroma

Okay, the smell of this Sex chakra spritzer, to me, is nauseating. I even asked my partner to smell it, and they agreed it's just terrible. Comparable to grandma's bad perfume. How can you expect that to turn anyone on, or relax you. The smell is supposed to include jasmine and ylang ylang, but all you really smell is tangerine and a little sandalwood. They did a terrible job at finding a happy medium between the different amounts of ingredients added to this spritzer.

Performance

For how strong the product smells in the bottle it has a really faint smell on the skin. It lasts a good hour before the smell starts to completely fade away from the skin. This said, you don't really need to wash it off, unless, of course, you're like me and hate the smell; then it comes off really easily with some warm water and mild soap.

Packaging

This 8 oz bottle of Sex chakra spritzer comes wrapped in just a plastic bag with tape securing it closed. There is no seal on the bottle to keep it fresh, which most other liquid products come with. This could be due to the sprayer, which is in the way of a possible seal. However, the sprayer is a very nice feature to this bottle and makes application of this "oil" a lot easier and even. The bottle even comes with a little plastic cap to cover the sprayer. How thoughtful! Overall the cobalt blue bottle is a very nice aspect of this product. It's moderately discreet, but because of its size and word choice on the bottle I would not leave it out. Also its size makes it a little bulky for a travel friendly item, but not impossible to bring with you if you must.

Personal comments

This product comes in a nice 8 oz size, but I think it's extremely overpriced. The potent smell alerts me that not much thought was put into the ingredients of this spritzer and thus lowers its value for me. I'm just so thankful I did not have to waste my own money on this item. Thanks, Edenfantasys, for continuing to let eager reviewers try new products!
