I've gotten some near expired or expired products from eden in the past. Perhaps they were past their "best to be used by" date?
This product is very mild and wasn't terribly warming for us either. Cinnamon oil can be hit or miss for people. This gel was mild and slightly intensified when Sigel tried some oral on me. Arch even tolerated this on his very sensitive skin.
Mine was within the best used by date by a year so I doubt the ones CarrieAnn received were out of date.
Very informative review...but sucks neither one of them worked.

That was actually the first thing I checked. Not expired, just not very strong I guess.
I am *extremely* sensitive and it was a light sensation on me, so it is for sure the gel. I love it, but those who like a stronger feeling might not.
