I make now secret that I have a lot of trouble with razor burn. It is the bane of anyone with thick hair, and I do have to admit that I really have thick hair. But gods, it makes shaving a bitch to deal with.

I have tried almost anything I can get my little paws on to help deal with razor burn, be it in the actual saving product or in an after care item.

I picked up Max Shave Total Body Shave Cream in the hopes that something would work. It comes in a four once tube with a flip top and a squeeze bottle. The bottle doesn't leak at all. It come in fresh or bamboo scents. I picked up the bamboo scented one to try out. It has a creamy texture to it. It's made out of Water (Eau), Cetyl Alcohol, Cetrimonium Bromide, Stearyl Alcohol, Hydroxyethylcellulose, Glyceryl Stearate, PEG-100 Stearate, PEG-60 Lanolin, Simmondsia Chinensis (Jojoba) Seed Oil, Hydrolyzed Keratin, Panthenol, (Pro Vitamin B), Allantoin, Phenoxyethanol, Sorbic Acid, Sodium Hydroxide, Fragrance (parfum), Copulandrone (Parfum), Copuline-alike (Parfum), and Reconstituted Androne (Parfum).

As a shaving product, it actually feels really good going on to the skin. It has a bit of a cooling feeling when it's smoothed over the skin. It doesn't burn or tingle when it goes on at all. And it really glides well with the body blades.

I have had minimal razor burn after using it without any after save products. And I mean very minimal.

The major draw back is that it smells like very cheap men's cologne. I do wear men's colognes sometimes, but not like this. I have to use body wash to get the scent off of me as soon as I can.

Not sure if I will be picking this one up again even though it really worked well, but some people are far more into that scent than I am.
