Smells like citronella
The Valencia Orange smells like citronella; this candle is romantic and re-usable, but this scent is not the best. Get the candle; but in a different scent.

This candle smells like citronella. I'm really fond of citrus scented candles, as they tend to be crisp and light. However, this one is quite strong; even when it's not lit. This has proved to be a bit annoying, although I imagine the scent would keep away any unwanted mosquitoes that are in the area! Granted, if I wanted a citronella candle I'd have gotten an Off brand one...
It comes in a beautiful box that you can keep to store the glass jar in once the candle is used up. The box comes in 2 parts, a thick bottom with a lid that fits on nicely. The top is orange and the bottom is yellow and patterned. It's a bit "loud" but it could be worse. It also has a lightly fitting metal cap that I have started using after I blow out the candle to reduce the scent in the air. The cap does not fit tight, at all so it may fall off.
I've found that it takes a bit to light the wick, I'd make sure to use a lighter instead of matches so you don't burn your fingers as the match burns down. Also, when you light it for the second, third, etc time it does spark a couple times, so make sure to pull your hand away quickly so you don't get burnt. It burns for quite a long time, I've had it burning for close to 10 hours now and it's barely noticeable in the wax.
When you blow it out there's barely any smoke, which is super nice plus there isn't that sooty smell afterwards. There's also no soot that falls off the wick between uses either.
All in all it's a beautiful candle and can create quite a sensual ambiance, however the citronella scent is a bit off-putting. I'd choose another scent if I got this particular candle again.
