The gel is about the thickness of pancake syrup and sticky, when initially poured. As it heats up it becomes less sticky and easier to spread. Therefore, it becomes more enjoyable as the massage goes on.

The product itself is easy to pour, once you can get the cork out. We found what worked best was not to close it back up until we were fully done. Just leave it uncorked and on the nightstand, you'll do fine.

My first impression upon opening this up is it smells exactly what it says it will. Strawberry champagne, with the alcohol scent coming off stronger than I anticipated.
