The Velvet Plush Kegel kit is made to strengthen those wonderful, useful Kegel muscles. They're also really fun to use with your partner, as a part of foreplay or combined with masturbation. The kit comes with three balls, each a little heavier than the last, and two harnesses; one to hold one ball and one to hold two. Having a variety of weights make it ideal for beginners and experts. I wouldn't use it anally, since there is no flared base, only an extremely stretchy silicone 'string' for removal.

Also...about that stretchy silicone string- it can be dangerous! Scout's honor- the 'string' was very slippery and wet, when I went to remove the ball and harness...and it slipped out of my fingers and popped my vagina (or if you wanna get technical, my labia)! Sounds funny, until it happens to you, anyway.

The harnesses included in the kegel kit are both silicone, which is my favorite material to find in a sex toy. The harnesses really are velvety (borderline silky) to the touch. They each have a seam that goes all the way around the harness, but it is not rough or uncomfortable in any way. In fact, when feeling the seam with your fingers, it feels like just a little bump or ridge along the surface. The silicone had very little smell when I opened the package, and with use, it has almost disappeared.

Now, moving on to the balls. The balls (or eggs, as some may refer to them) however, are hard plastic, so they can't be sterilized like the harness for sharing. They are almost as smooth as the silicone harnesses.

Although I haven't yet had a problem with lax muscles and have never used Kegel exercisers, I really wanted to try this kit, from the moment I saw it. When I got the chance, I took it. So please, keep that in mind as you read this.

I love everything about this kit- the size, the choice of weights, the silky smooth harnesses. The sizing was spot on for me, after I got it in. The first time I put the single-egg harness in, it took a little work. As I've said, looseness hasn't been an issue with me yet, and I also do regular Kegels occasionally. So, I think they would be an ideal size for someone who does have that problem.

The box the kit came in isn't discreet at all, but it would be suitable for travel, I think, if you took care that it was in a spot where it wouldn't be crushed.

Every component of this kit was enjoyable, so I have no complaints. The balls have a weight in them that you can feel as you move, while they are inserted, which is a sensation I'd never felt before. It's odd, at first, then you realize it's a pleasurable rumble inside of you. The silicone of the harness is very smooth and comfortable inside of you. Aside from using it to exercise, it also makes a good toy to use with a partner, especially during oral sex. I had a nice experience with it during oral sex, and it feels nice when my partner pulls it out slowly.

As I've said before, loose muscles are the least of my worries. I knew for sure I didn't need them when I was able to focus and push the eggs out with no outside help. But, it was fun to realize I could do that, and it was a neat trick to show my partner.

That said, it doesn't change my mind about this kit; it was a really fun experience and I still pull them out, once in a while.

I love silicone sex toys! Seriously, it's the best invention since sliced bread. I use a simple combo of warm water and anti-bacterial soap; I prefer Dial Gold soap. The silicone harness can also be sterilized by boiling it or putting it on the top rack of the dishwasher. The plastic eggs, not so much, but it isn't an issue unless you plan on sharing them.

You can also use water-based lube with the Velvet Plush Kegel kit, if needed.

As far as storage, I prefer to keep it in the plastic shell that it came in, then slide that back into the box. The box is anything but discreet, so if you're easily embarrassed or have curious kids, keep it in your little black box. Myself, I have a two year old, who gets into everything, so I have a large plastic container with a lid I keep under my bed.

The Kegel kit came packaged in a box with a cut-out window that shows off the harnessed eggs nestled into the molded plastic tray. The writing on the box plainly says 'Velvet Plush Kegel Kit' and isn't discreet at all. While there was no slip of paper or instruction booklet on the inside of the box, the outside had plenty of instructions. On the left side, it details the 6 week workout plan, titled 'Six weeks to greater Kegel control.' On the right side, it says 'The Ultimate Kegel Kit 6-step system,' then below that, 'A six-step kegel training system. Smooth, hygenic 100% silicone.' The latter statement is repeated down the side, each in a different language, identified by a small inset of a flag on the left side of the text. At the very bottom, it gives the Facebook and Twitter urls, so that you can 'Like' or 'Follow' Icon Brands on your favorite social network.
