A Helping Hand

A great lubricant for a woman's body and couples play, but lacks the thickness necessary for toy play or male masturbation.

As a masturbation enthusiast, I'm always looking for the next best masturbation aid. KY Jelly has long been my best friend, but I'm always willing to experiment with a new lube. Many suggest trying a dedicated masturbation lube as opposed to a generic personal lubricant, so I gave Jack Aide by Zero Tolerance a try.

"Medium Density" turned out to be pretty thin, especially if you are used to using a gel. It was closer to the thickness of a massage oil (think vegetable oil) as opposed to what I'd expected. I was hoping for a thickness similar to hair conditioner (a favorite masturbation supplement) for example.

Being very thin, I found that it didn't work great for direct hand to shaft masturbation. Instead it disappeared very quickly and didn't offer nearly enough stroking enhancement. Toy use proved to be similar. Trying to lubricate a realistic vagina, for example, just proved it to not have enough "sticking" power.

Anal play was out of the question. It just wouldn't adhere to a butt plug or probe enough to get the job done. For all of these it was too thin.

Where it did prove useful, though, was as a vaginal lubricant. It was just enough to act as a natural feeling lubricant to get a woman wet and ready for couples play.

The lubricant does not have a smell, and seems to be tasteless.

The bottle itself was nice in that it had a pump action top. This is much more practical than having to pop a cap or twist a top like with other lubes. The bottle itself, however, proved to be a nightmare. It always leaked, leaving lube around the base. It was difficult to tell where the leak was coming from, but from the very beginning, it was always sure to leave a ring of sticky lube on the floor, counter top, or nightstand.

Overall, I'd be happier to buy a bottle of hair conditioner for masturbation than this particular lube.
