Agape: for divinely hot love-making!

Although the reapplication can get a tad annoying, I would definitely recommend Agape. It was important to me that I use a lube with gentle ingredients (after all, it IS going inside of me!). Both I and my partner were pleased with its silkiness and the warming sensation Agape gave us. Grabbing for the bottle did momentarily interrupt things, but it wasn't a pain--we were excited to reapply!

Use

System JO's Agape warming personal lubricant for women is a water-based lube that's great for both front- and back-door rendezvous and also works well with your favorite sex toys. Another plus is that Agape is condom-friendly. The lube can be used on both the condom's interior and exterior surfaces. Agape is quite pleasurable since its texture is silky-smooth and, as promised, warms to the touch. The formula is free of glycerin, silicone, and oil, so it's ideal for sensitive skin and eco-conscious users. From its sensual warming properties to its easy clean-up, Agape is a lubricant that you and your partner will both love!

Agape is silky-smooth, warm to the touch, and easy to clean up. It's not stinky, sticky, or greasy. This lube is only slightly more viscous than water and is extremely easy to pour!

Taste / Aroma

The formula has not been perfumed, but does have a very light scent. Although two of the ingredients are acacia honey and peppermint, this lube sure doesn't taste sweet! Although the bottle doesn't warn against ingesting the product, I strongly recommend that you don't, it's not a pleasurable experience (in fact, it stings the tongue a bit).

Performance

Agape requires little to no clean-up, isn't sticky, and washes off with ease. Although it delivers on its promises (warming, silky-smooth, pleasurable), it may require a large amount of the lube to experience the full effects. You will definitely have to reapply (my partner and I reapplied about every 15-20 minutes, as needed).

The packaging is well-designed, informative, and recyclable. Its bottle is small and light and can be easily packed into anything from purses to suitcases. Just don't bring it as a carry-on item when flying (it exceeds the liquid limit).

When you think of System Jo's "Agape," think "heavenly"! After all, the word "agape" is derived from the Greek "agapeh theon," meaning "beloved of the gods" (it's the title of the ancient Greek goddess Isis). Coincidence? Not a chance--let's be clear, this lubricant is divine!

Experience

In general, we both can feel and enjoy Agape's warming sensation but have to reapply often.

We've used Agape for anal sex more than once, and on one occasion I experienced some discomfort (a burning sensation) that I think was due in part to the warming properties. It wasn't painful, per se, but it did detract from the experience. I have, however, had positive and pleasurable anal-sex experiences using Agape.
Follow-up commentary
I still love System Jo's Agape! Both my partner and I enjoy its silky smoothness and the added warmth that it brings during use. We've had the bottle for about a year now, so it's lasted even though we always have to reapply. Agape is currently our go-to lube. While I looove Agape for vaginal sex, I don't really like this lube for anal anymore. I prefer something that is a bit thicker. My partner also prefers something thicker for when he uses his Fleshlight (he says he has to reapply Agape like crazy when using his masturbator so he doesn't get brush burn). He may not like using Agape with his toys, but I still enjoy using this lube with my play-things!

All in all, Agape is a lube that delivers on its promises. With its irresistible warming sensations, I say this lube is well worth it!

NOTE: Please be aware that the lube does contain parabens, so be careful if you have sensitive to them!

    • I like a lot of warming lubes, it turns me on what can I say? Although it can 'burn' some.. it doesn't seem to burn me... or maybe I like pain. I was wondering how HOT jo warming lubricant gets. Also, how hot do you like your warming lubes?
    • .There are 6 reviews on this lube and a video, I'm sure you can find the answer there. I've never used it before. My favorite is Liquid Sex warming lube :) .
    • I haven't tried this so I couldn't tell you. I haven't tried a warming lube before, I usually have to use climax creams so I don't want to mix products.
