JO warming lubricant - lubricant discontinued by System JO - review by Zombirella

Jo warming lubricant is supposed to be a safer, warming personal lubricant for women (and men) to use because it leaves out all those nasty ingredients. You can apply it to the genitals to moisten things up for intercourse or solo play. It is great for people with sensitivities. It is water based and safe to use with any toys as well as latex condoms. I'm not sure if I'd recommend it for anal use, but there are products that warm and cool that can be used anally, so I just say use at your own discretion since it doesn't out right mention anal.

Polydimethysiloxane, Decamethylcyclotetrasiloxane, Octamethylcyclotetrasiloxane, Dimethylsiloxane, hydroxyl-terminated, Vitamin E

This feels like a bit like silicone lubricant when dispensed and rubbed between your fingers. It is really slick at first. It doesn't really run much unless you apply a lot to an elevated area. It doesn't get sticky or goopy feeling. It is somewhere in the middle between thick and thin.
It dispenses easily out of the pump top bottle.

I agree with what other people are saying about the smell; it smells like black licorice. It isn't really noticeable unless you hold it up to your nose to smell. As for the taste, it isn't intended for oral use and I didn't taste it.

I was a little let down by this lubricant. I tried their cooling lubricant and it really did do what it was supposed to, so I had high hopes for this stuff. After applying it to the outside of my vagina, applying a thick layer to my guy's penis, we went for it. During sex, my guy made a comment about it not feeling warm at all. He didn't feel any sensation the entire time. I could faintly feel a tingling sensation but nothing like what I was expecting.
Afterward, I tried applying a few pumps to my finger and swirling it around the outside of my vagina.....still....the same outcome. I thought maybe it needed to be blown on to work, so I put some more on my finger, rubbed it in and blew on it for a few seconds....fail. Nothing more than a slight tingle. No hotness, no warmth, just a total disappointment for me.
As for how long the lube lasted in keeping things moist, it lasted about 15 minuets, but we used a lot (not sure if that matters). I didn't feel the need to reapply it other than to see if it would heat up.
I know lubes like this are a hit or miss with different people since we all don't work the same. I just happen to be one of the people that didn't get a reaction out of this stuff. We will be keeping it around to use as a regular lubricant just because of the nice ingredient list and the consistency. I guess my search for a warming lube that works for me isn't over yet; total bummer.
As for clean up, I find that it absorbs well into the skin and doesn't leave any nasty residue so you don't have to run for a shower if you don't want.

There is nothing discreet about this bottle, it says right on the front that it is a personal lubricant. Despite that, it is rather tasteful and non-offensive. The pump top is a nice way to dispense the lubricant. There are directions and ingredients listed on the label of the bottle.
