Budget Lube

Adam and Eve personal gel lubricant is a thick, water based lubricant. It has a very thick, almost glue like texture. It has a locking pump bottle that does not leak. Adam and Eve lubricants are affordable and great for anyone on a budget. Contains Glycerin.

Use

Adam and Eve Gel lubricant is for those who like a thicker, gel lubricant. It can be used vaginally, anally, with sex toys, and for masturbation. Adam and Eve offers a 16 ounce bottle for only $16.99, so it is extremely affordable. I use this lubricant when I am using my sex toys while working as a web cam model. I go through a large amount of lubricant and this is very affordable. It can be used any way, but is not my preference. I use it because it is inexpensive and lasts quite a while. If you like a thicker gel lubricant Adam and Eve personal lubricant just may be for you. Just not my favorite.

Contains Glycerin. If you are sensitive to Glycerin do not purchase this product.

Texture / Consistency / Thickness / Viscosity

Adam and Eve lubricants tend to be a bit thicker than others. It reminds of hair gel when I use it, yeah it is that thick! It comes out thick, rubs on thick, and dries in thick blobs. Imagine a circle of dried up Elmer glue, that is what is dries like. Adam and Eve does provide a massive amount of lubricating. When I use it, I am completely slick and I can use sex toys easily. It does tend to dry a lot faster than other lubes I have. I use it because budget wise it goes a long way, but it is by far not my preference. It flakes too much and feels like I have a crotch full of glue when I am done.

Taste / Aroma

Adam and Eve personal lubricant smells a lot like hair gel, at least to me. It has a bad, plant like taste to it. I do not recommend it for oral sex.

Performance

Adam and Eve personal gel lubricant does work well. One pump lasts quite a while. I have used one bottle (16 ounces) for about 6 months. I don't prefer a thicker lube, so it isn't a favorite, but it does get the job done. Also it is extremely affordable. I don't care for the after effect. Big blobs of flakes and goo left behind. I have to clean up immediately. Also after extended use the flaking overpowers the lubrication and I have to reapply it. It is non staining and leaves no odor behind. It is water based and is compatible with all sex toys. It does contain Glycerin.

Packaging

The bottle is clear and translucent with a red locking pump and black lettering. It can be made discreet by removing the stick on label. Weight- 16 ounces. The bottle does have directions for use and ingredients. The pump works well and does not over dispense. The bottle doesn't leak.

Personal comments

I don't really care for this lubricant because it does flake excessively. However I use it because I use a lot of lubricant daily for work so I use Adam and Eve because it is very affordable.

      Silicone based lubes are typically the best for anal because they last longer and tend to be slicker than water based kinds, they're also condom compatible (A quick note here about anal and condoms- you should still use one even though there's no risk of pregnancy, the tissues in your anus are really delicate and there's no natural lubricant to help clean out possible infections/germs. Plus, those condoms designed for extra sensations for Him may be even better with such a tight fit). I've used Pjur backdoor and while it's consistency is good, the jojoba oil for 'relaxing' the area gives a very peculiar sensation that's not quite warm or tingly or anything, just present and unwelcome. For some women, that's WAY too much. So if I were to pick a product I would definitely say the Pink Silicone Lubricants (available on this site). They even have Vitamin E and the design of the bottle looks discrete and feminine.
