This sample pack is perfect for someone entering the world of flavored lube for the first time. I'd recommend it to anyone who likes sweet things and is interested in trying new flavors. It's also great for people looking for a good set of travel tubes, or a way to spice up their sex life with a little something different.

Use

In my opinion, the undeniable best thing about ID Juicy Lube is the portability. Whether you’re going on a trip, or just need a little stash around the house or in your purse, ID has you covered. It’s clear, doesn’t stain, and if you get a little messy it cleans right off with a paper towel or tongue. If you’re looking to try a flavored lube, but don’t want to commit to a larger container before you know how it tastes, sample packs can be just the thing. The ID Juicy Lube is rather thin, so I didn’t find it ideal for anal or larger insertions, but it’s perfect for fingers, and small to average sized toys.

Texture / Consistency / Thickness / Viscosity

The texture is thin and slick, with a feel very much like water. It wipes off easily without leaving oily or greasy residue. Because it is thin it comes out very easily. Even for a thin water based lube it is still thicker than most silicon based lubricants, and it not quite as slick.

Taste / Aroma

The Juicy 5 pack includes 5 of IDs most popular flavors: Wild Cherry, Luscious Watermelon, Strawberry Kiwi, Passion Fruit, and Bubblegum Blast. Cherry is a bit tart, Bubblegum reminds me of dentist toothpaste, and Passion Fruit tastes like what I imagine the sugar water they feed to humming birds must taste like; it’s very artificially sweet. Strawberry kiwi is actually very accurate, and Watermelon is my personal favorite, very realistic, and exactly like those liquid candies that groceries, gas stations and toy stores sell. While the scent is very noticeable (and nice!), it's not overpowering, like I was expecting.

Performance

When using the lube I only had to apply a nickel sized amount at the beginning and it remained wet and slick through the duration of use. When I was through, I simply wiped away the excess lubricant with a paper towel; it left behind no stickiness or residue.

Packaging

The ID Juicy Lube comes in a disposable clear, hard plastic package which contains the 5 adorable little tube set in front of a thick paper, covered in exotic fruits, that proclaims "ID Juicy lube - flavored water based lubricating gel" and then the flavors listed below. Each .42 oz tube has the name and a picture of its flavor printed on one side, as well as the ID Juicy logo. The other side has a list of ingredients and copyright information. Each tube is sealed with a silver piece of foil, and closed with a tiny white twist on cap. There are no instructions included.

Personal comments

Testing out this sample pack has been quite informative to me, in terms of what flavors of lube I might like to pursue further, and those I'll certainly be avoiding. For now, the watermelon tube will be living in my purse. I also found that if none of the flavors really do it for you, you could mix them to create your own.

    • Ok, so we purchased one of the cock ring/mini bullet combo toys few weeks back. hubby and I tried it this past week and found that we need something MUCH tighter for him.
