Wet pheromone - water based lube by Wet Lubricants - review by darthkitt3n

Digging through my box of condoms and lubrication, I quickly found what I was looking for. I opened up the bottle of Wet Pheromone lubrication and poured a small amount into my hand. Its “alluring scent,” reminded me of flowery perfume and possibly bar soap rolled into one. I would have thought alluring would have been something a little more spicy. The Wet Pheromone didn’t exactly stink, but it didn’t turn me on at all either. It was more of a pleasant yet slightly overpowering scent.

As I rubbed the lubricant onto my boyfriend’s penis, I noticed it was kind of sticky, not super slick like the bottle of Wet Platinum that I usually used. I continued to massage him, not too gently and not too hard, applying a bit more lube after it began to dry up and feel too sticky. I could tell he was not fully enjoying it as he usually does. After a while he asked me to switch back to our usual lube, the Wet Platinum. He also commented that the scent of the Wet Pheromone was starting to aggravate him a little.

Cleanup was easy. We just both washed our hands and wherever we managed to get lube on our bodies with soap and warm water. I used paper towels with a bit of dish soap and warm water to get the small spots of lube off the sheets.

All in all, I would say I was not satisfied with the Wet Pheromone lubricant. I am a loyal fan of their brand of lubes, literally every lube I have is made by them. Neither of us enjoyed this one. It was too sticky to really get him off and also aggravated me by making my hands feel kind of icky. Though I do think the bottle is kind of pretty with lots of pink and purple.

I suppose how much you would enjoy the lube depends on your preferences. If you like a slick lube, this would probably be the wrong lube for you, though if you like stickier lube, I’d say go for it.
