Long-lasting Budget Lube

Overall, this was a good purchase. It sits by our bed and is perfect for weeknight romps. It will not be the only lubricant in our collection, and isn't flashy, but it is an essential basic- like a pair of jeans.

Use

This water-based lubricant by Adam & Eve is best suited to everyday bedroom use due to its size. It is great for just about everyone- there are no bells or whistles, scents or flavors, so it is a basic lube.

Texture / Consistency / Thickness / Viscosity

The texture is thick and slick, like hair gel. It is long lasting, though it will begin to get sticky towards the end and may require a second application for long sessions.

There is no real taste or smell to this product. For some people that may be a con, but for those who are sensitive to fragrances, this is the perfect lube.

Performance

The product lasts for a long time relative to other water-based lubricants. For us, typically one application will last for the entire session. At the end, there is a sticky residue left, which must be cleaned up, but it easily washes away.

Packaging

The packaging isn't very flashy, but is certainly very functional. The pump dispenser is a wonderful addition. Fumbling to apply lube with a tube or even flip top bottle can be such a pain when you are hot and heavy. The pump dispenser gives an adequate amount easily. The large bottle is great too, because it is long-lasting and a good value. The size does present a con, though- it is not the easiest to travel with.

This product has no real special properties or sensations. It is the vanilla ice cream of lubricants.

Follow-up commentary
It has been months since we ordered a two pack, and we are still just halfway through the first bottle, despite using it every session. I've been paying more attention and have noticed that it needs reapplication every 5-7 minutes. This would be more of a bother if it weren't for the handy pump dispenser. I continue to highly recommend this as an everyday, go-to lubricant.

      Silicone based lubes are typically the best for anal because they last longer and tend to be slicker than water based kinds, they're also condom compatible (A quick note here about anal and condoms- you should still use one even though there's no risk of pregnancy, the tissues in your anus are really delicate and there's no natural lubricant to help clean out possible infections/germs. Plus, those condoms designed for extra sensations for Him may be even better with such a tight fit). I've used Pjur backdoor and while it's consistency is good, the jojoba oil for 'relaxing' the area gives a very peculiar sensation that's not quite warm or tingly or anything, just present and unwelcome. For some women, that's WAY too much. So if I were to pick a product I would definitely say the Pink Silicone Lubricants (available on this site). They even have Vitamin E and the design of the bottle looks discrete and feminine.
