sLIGHTly Disappointing
If you want a lube which has virtually no clean up and if you don't mind sacrificing slickness and longevity, give Wet Light a try. If you require those things, pass on by.Published: November 21, 2008
Pros:
No residue, easy clean up, absorbs into skin well
Cons:
Thin formula, needs reapplication
I noticed that my bottle of lube (yep, the one which I've had for more than 2 years) was running low so my husband and I set out to find a local toy store with direction from the internet (which is usually not a good idea). At a sex toy party a few months ago, the consultant had raved at how much consumers loved Wet Light because it left no residue and I had decided to look for that and a few other products. Wet Light was the only reasonably priced lube at the store so we took it home.
A few days later I tried it out with my Wild G and BNaughty vibes. It was definitely thinner than lubes I had previously used and I knew I would have to deal with the thinness of this lube during playtime. After lubing up my toys, there was a bit left on my hands and it initially felt sticky but soon became absorbed in my skin.
Nevertheless, Wet Light did add a bit of enjoyable lubrication, even if it was discernibly less slick than other lubes, and I could easily insert my rabbit or play with my bullet along my vulva. When I was done enjoying my toys, I was amazed to find they had absolutely no residue on them. It was almost as if I hadn't used them at all! However, had I gone any longer, I might have felt the need to reapply.
I also used Wet Light during sex with slightly less impressive results. I don't have marathon sex and I would say it's not common for us to reach 30 minutes of penetration. With that in mind, I was feeling the need to reapply lube shortly before we finished up.
I noticed that my girl parts felt similarly free of residue and stickiness and clean up was much easier and even less necessary than with other lubes.
Overall, I did think that Wet Light was a very clean formula which make playtime less sticky and clean up easier and it certainly isn't a bad lube. However, that came with some noticeable drawbacks and, for me, I'd rather have a long lasting lube.

This lube might be good for a quickie, eh?
That's about it Snappy.
Great review! Light is definitely the operative word here.... :)
Yet another lube who's only purpose may be lubricating bullets for dildos. :)
Makes cleaning the bullets easier if nothing else! :) Great review as always!
Thanks a lot Beautiful Dreamer!
Hi! Yeah, I think these might be a general problem with the Wet line. Cute title!
