Wet Light, not so wet or light

Wet Light, in my experience, is horrible. It tastes horrendous, has an odor, doesn't work as a lubricant very well and leaves me feeling disappointed. I would probably never recommend this lube to anyone because of this and the fact it left me feeling smelly, sticky, and with a burning tongue. The only good thing about it is the package was educational

Use

This product is meant to be used during sex. It says it is condom compatible. The tube I have claims it is "Doctor recommended". This product is supposed to work for anyone and their lubricating needs. I'm taking this to mean you should be able to use it for vaginal, anal, masturbation, or mutual stimulation. This product does have glycerine and a host of other things in it so please carefully read the section on the ingredients.

Texture / Consistency / Thickness / Viscosity

The texture of this lube was very unpleasant to me. When it came out of the tube it was very thin and watery. When poured it moves a lot like water and doesn't really tend to stay where you put it. For the first few seconds it feels very natural but then it starts to dry and get sticky very quickly. When I say sticky, I mean I used it to masturbate my partner a little and my fingers started to stick together. If left on long enough, it starts to feel like the adhesive on the back of a post-it note.

Taste / Aroma

As far as taste is concerned it has that nasty bitter sweet taste water-based lubes with glycerine tend to have. It also left a chemically, tingle/burning on my tongue afterwards, which is not common to these kinds of lubes in my experience. I did not enjoy it at all; licking it was akin to licking the end of a nine volt battery. The smell wasn't strong but it was still rather unpleasant. The next morning I noticed a lingering acrid odor even though I had wiped myself off the evening before.

Performance

This product did not last particularly long at all. I rubbed some on his cock and it started to get sticky after only a minute or two. So I said to hell with it and rubbed some on my lady parts. When it came to insertion the lube was practically useless; it got him in but it didn't stop the friction too much at all. It took a minute for my own natural juices to kick in and then everything went smoother. This lube was pretty useless at doing the job of lubricating.

The plus side was that it washed off easily with just a warm damp cloth and I didn't feel that post-it note adhesive feeling anymore. I could still smell it a bit the next day so maybe it needs some soap to get rid of the odor.

    • Dries up too fast
    • Gets sticky

Packaging

The packaging on mine was simply the tube it came in. The tube looks appealing in its gentle shades of blue and green. It has the instructions right on the back. We haven't had any problems with leakage but it is a squeeze tube with a screw top so I wouldn't count on it not leaking if it were to get squashed some how. A plus is that it is a very small tube so it could easily be hidden if you wanted to take it places.

The back of the tube says:
Gentle, odorless, water based

Directions:
Apply as needed to the area you wish to lubricate. Do not use if tamper evident seal is broken. Store at controlled room temperature (50-86 degrees Fahrenheit).

Warnings:
If irritation occurs discontinue use immediately. Keep out of eyes and ears. Very Slippery, clean spills immediately.

My tube says these are the Ingredients:
Water (Aqua)
Aloe Barbadensis (Aloe Vera) Leaf juice,
Glycerin,
PEG,
Carboxymethyl Hydroxyethylcellulose,
Sodium Benzoate,
Tocopheryl Acetate (Vitamin E acetate),
Propylene Glycol,
Tetrasodium EDTA,
Dimethicone,
Copolyol,
Methylparaben,
Imidizolidinyl Urea
    • Travel friendly
    • Very informative packaging

Personal comments

This lube is called Wet Light. It is neither very wet nor particularly light. I rubbed some on the back of my hands and waited about 15-20 minutes; the back of my hands keep sticking together like Velcro. This is probably one of the worst lubes I've every used. I can understand why it came in a grab bag now. I spent 20 dollars to get a bag of random things and this lube came in it. I'm glad I didn't spend some outrageous amount to buy it myself.
