Beautiful Lace, Sparkles and Class!!!
This classy lace bed jacket and thong is lovely and versitile. It is very "lady like", although extremely sexy, and would probably attract the MILF type along with younger women. If it is worn as in the picture, it is uber sexy and your partner will be drooling within seconds. My version is still sexy but less revealing.Published: February 5, 2012

This "French frills sleep shirt and thong" arrived at my home in the usual EF shipping box. The sleep shirt, which is more of a bed jacket, was hung on a (cheap) plastic hanger and covered in clear plastic. There were no surprises because it looks exactly like the picture on the EF site--except the color looks a deeper, richer pink, but that could just be the graphics on my computer.
The quality of this shirt by DreamGirl is undeniable. The sheer lace has a rose pattern, stretches A LOT and has a slight shimmer to it. The hem and deep V neckline are finished with a double ruffle chiffon-like fabric. The sleeve is cuffed with a single chiffon-like ruffle. The label on the G-string and jacket identify the material as 90% nylon and 10% spandex. It is machine washable/dryable and you can not iron this. It comes as no surprise that it is made in China.
Above the cuffs is a 3.5" band of slightly heavier lace with small glass beads forming 2 large 5 pointed stars. The same lace and bead pattern make up the thong. The cotton lining is 3" long and at its widest point it is 1.5". The elastic band that makes up the waistband is superior quality to the more expensive lingerie I own. It is obvious to me that there was a lot of attention paid to construction details- all finished edges are beautiful. A set of chiffon ties are attached in front.
According to the DreamGirl size chart, a M/L should fit sizes 8 - 14, cup size B - C, band size 36" - 38", waist 28" - 3"2, 38" - 40" and weight 130 - 160 lbs. Size 1X/2X should fit size 16 - 18, cup size D - DD , band size 40" - 48", 36" waist 40", hips 42" - 48" and weight of 165 - 225 lbs. This bed jackekt is a size XL which is not listed. No plus sizes are available. I weigh about 150 lbs, wear a 36/38 C/D bra and a size 14 dress/pants. According to the DreamGirl's size chart, I would expect the M/L to fit me, but the XL does not fit. Not even close. However, I am keeping this item. WHY?

Experience
I kept this because it is lovely and I have found a way to adapt it so I can still wear it and look sultry. I have a pair of pink satin PJ pants and I wear them with this jacket. I can leave it untied, or tied with a wide separation between sides--but it still looks good either way. Under the jacket I wear a white camisole. I do wear the thong under the pants and also it has become part of my daily undies drawer because it is so nice and comfortable. I am not disappointed that I can not wear it as it is shown in the picture--I actually like my style better. If we are at home watching TV, I can wear this and be admired all evening. If one of my girlfriends stops by for a minute, I feel comfortable enough in this outfit not to run for a robe.
I should subtract a star because of the poor sizing but because I can still wear it; it is so lovely and classy it forces me to award it 5/5 stars- something I rarely, if ever, do.

This is so pretty and sexy. It still doesn't fit me, but I wear it with a cami and some satin PJ pants I have. It is elegant that way. Plus, it makes me feel so mature and social.

The "M/L" size is for when they have less sizing options, like if the garment only comes in "S/M" or "M/L"...
By that rule of thumb, their "1X/2X" is a bit bigger than what is actually considered an "XL" in size. Just weird to me that there isn't a simple XL on DreamGirls size chart! Hmph! So sorry that it doesn't fit well. It does sound rather nice though...
I tend to have some problems with DreamGirls sizing myself. I should fit a large, but a large is way too small.
