It would be physically impossible for me to have loved this naughty sheriff outfit any more. It was a complete and utter surprise how well the pieces were constructed, how comfortable the top and bottom were to wear and how bloody hot they made my ass look.
I'm not afraid to admit that when I first opened the Strip Search Sheriff package I was so overcome with excitement that I managed to put the shorts on backwards (hint: the zipper goes in the front). But my excitement was completely understandable. After all, not only did I get an adorable little cleavage-flaunting top and super cute short shorts but there were also gloves, a badge, a belt, aviator sunglasses and (luckily for all the Halloween party goers who like to be spanked) a cheesy lovable little plastic nightstick. I added knee-high black boots and fishnets to complete the ensemble and I fervently suggest you do the same for best results.
Obviously no one will confuse you for real police. Clearly the Strip Search Sheriff is designed for more prurient interests: as a sexy role-playing costume, as a Halloween get-up or for making some cash up on a stage at amateur strip night. That doesn't mean I didn't pull over to a small group of cop cars and ask to get my picture taken with them. They cheerily obliged and I now have several photographs of me bending a Northeast Philly cop over his own squad car hood, thwacking his rear with my little black night stick.
This, people, is the power of this costume. Donning it, I walked with more of a swagger. I drew more adulation and interest at costume parties than some of the more outrageous, clever and ingenious creations. I was asked repeatedly by strangers to cuff and/or beat them. Clearly this is an outfit that works.
As for practical considerations: I'm always concerned with ordering clothes online because of the risk that you run not getting to try them on. This worked out flawlessly though. I followed the sizing guidelines provided and everything fit spectacularly.
So whether you've got a costume party, a night at the club or an adventure planned for your bedroom, I recommend resolutely that you consider the authority-commanding, ass-displaying, utterly ridiculous Strip Search Sheriff.

I fricking love this outfit. It's become an iconic look of mine: something that people remember from costume parties a year later. It fits great, is super comfortable, and works like a charm.

Why the extra deodorant? Does it seem sturdy enough to throw in a washing machine, or need hand washing?
It might well be machine washable- but I found that the material was in the mood for making visible pit stains.
Looks like fun, and I'm glad to hear the quality is good as that's the main reason I have been hesitant is picking up a costume. This is going in my wish list for sure, thanks for the fun review :)
I don't think I would have felt comfortable wearing that out in public even for halloween but its nice to hear you had such a good time flaunting your stuff!! Nice Review :P
