This garter belt is so wonderful in theory. Not only does it have that wet look of smooth leather, pleather, or PVC, it has six straps to make it even more sexy than it already is. When I discovered this had six straps, I was beyond myself with excitement. Here it was! A six strap garter belt! I had been waiting for the day that I would own one.

I'm a size 14 in Women's and 15 in Juniors. This belt fits rather well around the hips but better on my lower waist/upper hips. The straps are nice and sturdy, but the hardware isn't what I would call fully attached. The lip on the rubber grabber meant to hold them in place easily so that they will not fall out of place, seem to fall out too easily. These little things were falling off before I even put the garter belt on. After I had them secure, however, getting the garter belt on was a breeze. I wore some raw top industrial net fishnet stockings with these. The clasps have metal on them and I feared the metal would snap or rip my more delicate nylon stockings.

It looks great. Incredibly sexy even. The belt didn't dig into my hips too much and didn't seem to be a bother for my sensitive skin.

It wasn't until I sat for a long period of time during a showing of The Rocky Horror Picture Show that I started to feel uncomfortable. The metal clasps were digging into the backs and sides of my thighs. I had to adjust several times, but the damage was already done. If I hadn't been concerned with looks, I would have taken the garter belt off altogether. I'm quite certain had I been doing a lot more standing than sitting, I would not have been in such discomfort. This garter belt isn't really meant for a girl with thicker thighs to do a lot of sitting in. Though, my experience could honestly be an isolated experience and I don't believe everyone else will have this same experience.

When I got home and properly took the belt off, three of my six rubber grabbers fell right out with the fishnet stockings. That was disappointing. I've never had a garter belt fall apart so easily. You can easily put the rubber pieces back in place, but if this is a regular occurrence, that falls into annoying territory.

All in all, the look, material, and fit of this item is really awesome. It's just upon wear that I personally found issue with the garter belt.
