~ Material/Design/Craftsmanship
There are three main materials used in this set. The first is a stretchy pink mesh, the second is a lace detailing that the product description calls galloon. The third material is black and pink elastic. The mesh doesn't feel especially strong nor weak, pretty middle of the road on that front. I'm not afraid of it ripping on me though which is nice. Overall I think this product was well executed. There were many places where Dreamgirl could've skimped and the quality would've suffered but they didn't. The lace detailing is sewn on nicely, the garter eyes are sewn on in the right spots. For the price I think Dreamgirl really pulled it off.



~ Garter Slip
As you could tell from the stock pictures, this slip is nowhere near opaque! Your skin will show right through and the fabric won't be very good at hiding imperfections. The color is just as bright in person as it is in the pictures as well. The majority of the slip is made of the pink mesh that goes from top to bottom. Around the front of the slip there is a deep V type neck that continues around the back. The V in the back is connected by lace up type design. The lace up section is sewn in and for appearance only, it's not adjustable at all. The back slit ends at the mid to lower back, safely stopping before where most rear ends start. Along the bottom of the slip the fabric is gathered at four points, along each side, down the middle of the front and the middle of the back.

There's a long seam that goes from the bottom of the lace trim on the front to the bottom of the dress. However, considering the gathering in the piece, I don't know how Dreamgirl could've got around having it. Also, while worn it did't distract me as much as I think it would. Therefore I didn't end up counting this as a Con.

There is no underwire or breast support at all with this piece. The section for your breasts is made of half lace detailing and half mesh material. There is elastic around the underside of the bust which could prohibit larger bust sizes from fitting in just right.

~ Garters
I really like the garters that come with the set. There's a total of four included, two in the front and two in the back. All are the same length and adjustable. All have a range of 3 1/2"-6" but could stretch to 8" if necessary. They're made of stretchy matching pink elastic type material. The clips are made of a thin metal that I'd call mid level in quality. The fittings are a rigid clear plastic. Over either side of the clips is a small pink ribbon to cover them.



~ Thong
It's the typical matching color thong that comes with most Dreamgirl set. It is made of the exact same pink mesh material with the pink elastic as seen in the slip. The elastic works great here, looking like it would stretch to fit many. The fabric at it's widest point can be stretched to about 4". The panties do have a little pink cotton liner in them.
One thing I really liked about the thong however was the fact that it's actually labeled "XLarge", meaning they didn't just send a one size fits most or the queen one size. It shows me that they've put a bit more time into the sizing than their typical "Red Diamond" boxed lingerie.

~ Packaging and Care
This set comes on a hanger in a clear plastic bag, no paper or anything to disguise it. It has two attached tags. The first has an image of the model on the front and the color, size and style on the back. The next tag has some manufacture information on the front (their address and 1-800 number) and a slew of information on the product on the back of the card such as what each piece in the set is made up of in many different languages.
The tag on the inside of the slip and the tong calls for them to be hand washed in cold water and line dried. The material seems sturdy enough to even be used in a lingerie bag if you really wanted to do that.

~ Sizing
The Dreamgirl XL measurements aren't posted on Eden however I found them off of the manufacture site as follows (my measurements in parentheses). I found this piece to be right on the mark, it's true to size. The only thing I would worry about here is the cup size. While you may not get much coverage if you have E's, I think it could possibly fit.

The thong fits perfectly, covering everything that I would like to be covered.

~Overall
This set quickly grew on me. I like the way the gathering looks on my rear. Speaking of which, I have quite a large rear and this covers it well. The gathering is a bit stretched around my bum but I expected that and it still looks nice.
I would feel completely comfortable wearing this during intercourse. It could be worn under loose clothing as a surprise for your partner as well.

Sadly this isn't offered in a plus size so I wouldn't recommend it to anyone much larger than my own measurements. If you have larger breasts as mentioned I wouldn't expect much coverage. Also if you have a bit of a tummy you're looking to hide, the gathering will help but this is also a sheer and tight piece so please take those things into consideration.

There weren't many things I didn't like with the set but it wasn't flawless. I didn't love was how the shoulders looked on me personally. I also felt a bit let down that the set didn't include stockings which would've made it feel more complete. However, overall this piece makes me feel sexy and what more can you ask for?

I think this garter slip would look great on ladies with a hourglass or pear type figure, but it could work for many different shapes and sizes so long as you stick to the chart. I'm giving this set a 4 out of 5 because while it worked great for me, it was not perfect and will not work for everyone.
