Long sleeved mini fishnet dress - mini dress discontinued by Leg Avenue - review by SMichelle

Prior to purchasing this, I had looked at it several times over the last few weeks. Each time I told myself no, thinking that it would never work for me. I imagined that the fit would be small, and that the quality would be cheap. After doing this for several days, my desire to be sexy overwhelmed my fears -- I added it to my cart, made my purchase, and eagerly awaited my mailman. When this arrived, I rushed to try it on. A smile came over my face as I slipped it over my head and glanced in the mirror. It wasn't perfect, but it was incredibly hot!

Basics:
Leg Avenue presents this two piece set, consisting of the long sleeved fishnet mini dress and a matching thong.

Material & Care:
This set is made out of 88% Nylon and 12% Spandex.

I was truly impressed with the material on this set, especially as my expectations were quite low. The material is very durable. No matter how rough I am with this (and I have been very rough), it holds up. Both the fishnet and the side straps are thick, durable, soft, and comfortable. I could truly wear this dress all day without a complaint (assuming that I wasn't going to leave the house).

Both pieces of this set are also incredibly stretchy.

Now, I know it's kind of obvious, but for the sake of stating..you should know that this piece is going to show everything you've got!

In order to care for this set, the tag recommends that you hand wash it in warm water and then allow it to line dry.

Sizing:
This mini dress only comes in one size fits most.

According to Leg Avenue's size chart, the one size should fit someone with the following measurements:
Cups: A-C
Band: 32-38"
Waist: 23-29"
Hips: 34-40"

My waist is 32", my hips 40", and my cup size is usually a large C/small D. I wasn't expecting this piece to fit me, but it did! In fact, this would fit someone a bit larger, too! Interestingly, it will also fit people much smaller than me. It appears that this one size fits most is truly an item that will fit most.

The only part of this set that didn't really fit me comfortably was the thong. I was able to get the thong on, but it gave me some serious muffin top. No big deal, as I didn't buy this for the thong. Still, I'd say that the thong will probably only fit those who are on the lower end of the hip size recommendation.

Design:
I've seen many sexy mini dresses, but this one seems to have a little something special about it. Perhaps it's the long sleeves, or perhaps it's the sexy straps going up the sides. Whatever it is, the design of this piece sexy, though it does have some flaws.

The piece is designed so that it slips over your head. Due to the side straps, this can be a bit of a hassle but it's really not too difficult.

The sleeves, and the center and back panels on this dress are made out of a fishnet material. The fishnet is diamond shaped, with holes that are slightly larger than most of what I've seen. The holes aren't gigantic, but my nipples do poke through them. I'm also able to fit my thumb through the fishnet holes without damaging the material, so the holes are quite big.

The top of dress has sort of a scoop neck. The scoop neck is beautiful, and it works well with the design of the dress. While we're on the subject of the top of the dress, I just want to take a moment to note that this piece does not offer any bust support.

Now we have the sleeves. The sleeves on this dress are long. I assumed that the sleeves would be a little short, but really they come down to the ends of my wrists just like I wanted them to. They do seem to roll up a bit during use, so to prevent that I've started slipping my thumb through the fishnet material. Doing this has not damaged the material at all as the material is very stretchy, and the holes are already fairly large.

My one problem with the sleeves is the seam that connects them to the rest of the dress. The seam does not sit where it should -- in fact, it sits just where it does on the model. If I try to pull the top up to get the seam to sit in a way that doesn't look a bit odd, then the rest of the dress feels uncomfortable.

Finally we have the side panels. There's not a whole lot to the side panels -- it's just little elastic straps crisscrossing up the sides. The side panels are my favorite part of this dress, but they might not flatter extremely curvy figures. This is due to the fact that the sides fit very snugly, so there's a definite chance that the straps could cause some interesting muffin tops.

The included g-string is your basic g-string. There's a little triangle, and then the string. There is no pantyliner.

Quality:
Okay, the quality is not extraordinary, but it is very good! The mesh is thick and durable, and it hasn't snagged once! My one complaint about the quality is that the top edge seems to be fraying a bit. It sucks that it's fraying a little, but I love this "dress" so much that I just don't care.

All in all? I'm giving this a 4, because it makes me feel sexy.

Sadly this piece has torn during a bit of a rough play session. Technically it's still wearable -- just the arm of it is torn.

This piece was amazing until it got torn. My boyfriend went absolutely nuts for this, and despite the fact that it ripped? I'd totally buy another one -- if only it was back in stock.
