Buckled and bound set - teddy discontinued by DreamGirl - review by Mr. & Mrs. Peg

The Buckled and Bound set by Dreamgirl looks absolutely dreamy on the website. Unfortunately all this potential was lost in execution, at least for us. Because I generally like to be positive, let me start with the things the folks at Dreamgirl got right.

First, the garment in this set is very well constructed. The stitching is strong and the seams are straight and even. There are lots of nice finishing touches like the shiny side of the fabric being on both side of the straps. The fabric is quality material and has held up to hand washing with no signs of wear. And, as you can see from the pictures, it is a very sexy design.

What interested me in this piece was the strapiness of the outfit, the bondage element, and, most importantly when choosing lingerie for Mrs. Peg, the small cup size. Mrs. Peg has small gorgeous perky breasts and it is difficult to find lingerie sometimes that she is comfortable wearing. This is supposed to be “one size fits most,” claiming this is suitable for body types 90lbs to 160 lbs. While at the lower end of this slide, Mrs. Peg definitely falls within this range. However, it was the bottoms, not the top that made this a bad fit for Mrs. Peg. I would recommend this to someone with a moderate to small bust size but with full hips. There is really nothing sexy about baggy drawers when it comes to thongs. I will say that the outfit fit me fine and I have a 32” waist (and that’s all I am going to say about that….).

As I said above, I was drawn the straps on this outfit. These actually posed a bit of a problem for us because it was a little hard to figure out how the whole thing worked together. Here is our tip: separate the top from the bottom; don’t try to step into this while it is all together. Put the bottoms on first, then the top, cross the straps and you are all set.

Finally to the bondage appeal: this is a total fail on the part of Dreamgirl. The cuffs have Velcro closures that barely hold at all. Just throw them out and get something else, because these don’t work at all.

We think for someone with the right body type, this set would be smoking hot. However, for Mrs. Peg, it just didn’t work due to the size of the bottoms. If the set fits, wear it and ENJOY!

I still like the concept but hate that Mrs. Peg couldn't wear it. The cuffs rightfully got sent to the trash bin. I think we can use the outfit for something....I just don't know what.
