Lace up chemise - chemise discontinued by Music legs - review by petite-n-sweet

Sizing:

If you have read any of my other lingerie reviews, you'd know my reviews include me complaining about it not fitting. This review is unfortunately no different.

The Lace up chemise is a one size fits most that comes sized small, medium and large. According to the size chart a small should fit:

Chest: 32-24
Waist: 24-26
Hips: 34-36

and I am happy to report that it is true to size. Unfortunately for me, I am 28-30 in the chest and this little number is unforgiving.

Because of the shaped underwire bust area, the chemise will not hang well if you do not fit the top correctly. The chemise is made out of stretchy nylon, but more so around the waist and hips. If you are not at least 32 inches around the chest I would not recommend buying this unless you are prepared to take it in with some needle and thread. If you are a little bigger in the waist or hips, don't worry, it will still look cute. The strings on the front and back provide some give.

I do plan to take up the sides of this chemise so that it will fit me. It looks to be a simple enough cut that even the most novice of a seamstress can make this fit.


Material:

The material on this lingerie was actually better than expected. It came shipped in a plastic adult shop costume container bag. When I opened the box and saw the bag, I was expecting scratchy material that felt like cardboard. I was pleasantly surprised to take it out of the bag and feel the soft and stretchy nylon. On my body it looked like sheer silk, but felt like standard nylon. The seams were well attached, and quite sturdy.


Usability:

My guy loved me in this chemise, especially the peek a boo like bottom. No matter how much I tugged on it, it never seemed to cover my rear, which he did not mind. It was comfortable to wear during intercourse, and under a robe until we were ready to play.
