Not As Bright As Pictured (M)

This set is probably going to look its best when paired with jeans and a tank top, although it can be sexy all on its own. The lace feels soft against the skin and the color is bold and vibrant without being too "in your face" about it. The arms will likely be a bit tight, but it's definitely a piece worth owning if you think your arms will fit.

extremely useful review
This came wrapped up in pretty pink tissue paper, and had a cardboard tag attached to the top. There's a tag in both the thong and the top that give you materials, care, and sizing. This set is 90% Polyester and 10% Spandex and should be hand washed in cold water and line dried. I would feel comfortable running it through the washing machine, and maybe even the dryer, but do so at your own risk.

You can get this in a variety of sizes, and I got this color in a medium. To DreamGirl that means I should be between a size 6-10, cup size B-C, bust of 34"-36", waist of 26"-28", hips of 36"-38", and a weight of 120-140. I'm 5'2", about a size 6, I weigh about 120, around my bust measures 32" and underneath measures about 28 1/2". I've got about a 29" waist and measure about 34" around the top of my hips and 38" around my butt and wear a good solid B cup. This was comfortably loose in the torso, and fit my arms much better than the small did.

The top is designed to be worn off the shoulder, but comes with straps for those of us who feel more comfortable with them. If you prefer strapless, they just come right out like a removable bra strap. They're also adjustable, although there's not a lot of range. The rest of the top is made up of a see through floral lace/mesh. The color in the photos is very bright, but in person it's much more subdued. This is good news for those of you who love purple but don't want to blind anybody who looks at you. The neck/shoulder opening is about 17" across when laid flat but stretches up to about 22". From under the armpit to the end of the sleeve is about 19", and to the bottom of the top is about 21". There are seams at the sides and an unfortunate seam that runs down the middle of the back and also holds the tag. Depending on what you're wearing underneath, the seam may not be that noticeable and you can cut the tag out with scissors. I'm about 15" from under my armpit to the top of my hips and on me it came down a few inches past that. My arms are about 10" around where the sleeves meet the chest portion, and with the medium I feel a lot more comfortable in this area. You should be ok up to about 13 1/2" around.

The thong is pretty basic and shaped more like a "traditional" thong. It's got a nice crotch liner which actually does line up where I feel it should, and the rest of the material matches the top. It measures about 13" across when laid flat and stretches up to about 20", but at this point it'll probably be digging in uncomfortably. The top of the triangle is about 4 1/2" across, narrows down to about an inch at the narrowest part of the crotch, and widens back out to about 2 1/2" at the top of the butt.

The lace on everything was soft and comfortable and I didn't find it to be itchy at all. The overall craftsmanship is nice too. Everything here looks and feels like it was thought through. There aren't any loose threads or fraying ends and it feels like it should hold up quite a while.

I also purchased this one intending to wear it over a tank top, so that's how you'll see it below. I'm wearing one of a different shade of purple, but you can choose any color cami you want. For those of you who plan to wear it alone, it is compatible with pierced nipples and shouldn't try to rip anything out.

Experience
I have this one in red, and now this one in purple, and I'm definitely adding as many colors as I can to my collection. It's a simple piece that really makes a statement without being too "in your face" about it. I love it, and for me it's a 5 star piece. I opted for 4 though because my guess is that the arms on this one will run small too, and the seam and tag down the back will probably bother a lot of people.
