Ruffle mesh dress - chemise by Baci - review by Ryuson

When I saw this, I KNEW that I had to have it. The ruffles, the color, the style; I just knew that it would be great and drive my boyfriend crazy. Even though I was a bit skeptical about the 'one size'ness and several users mentioned that this brand was more for lanky people, I decided that a $15 'dress' wasn't much of a gamble compared to some lingerie I've been less than thrilled with.

Packaging

This dress came in a cardboard box that isn't super classy. It has the pictures on the product page on the front and back of it, and it gives a bit of detail on care and upkeep. While it could be a bit classier, I haven't found that very much lingerie (especially at this price point) comes with classy packaging.

While you can use this for storage, it's fairly large and is tearing after the few times I've opened and closed it since I got it. There is also a cardboard insert thanking you in quite a few different languages for purchasing Baci lingerie.

Fit

Despite something like this being one size fits all, I hoped that it would fit me alright anyways. The model really didn't give a good idea of how this was supposed to look at all, but I was still pleasantly surprised.

On another site I found the following size chart for their one size pieces, so keep the measurements in mind while shopping around;
Size: 2-14
Cup: B-C
Bust: 32-38
Waist: 24-32
Hip: 34-40
Weight: 90-160

The cups of this piece are what really struck me as a bit odd. While I wear either a 34D or a 34C depending on the brand and style, they barley covered my nipples. I feel like on the model they must have them taped or something, because they look much lower on my breasts.

The middle of this fit me nice and snugly, and the elastic band was stretchy enough to be comfortable. To reference along with the pictures below, keep in mind that my measurements are;
Height: 5'1"
Weight: 130
Bra size: 34C or 34D
Waist: 26
Hip: 40

Quality and Material
For the low price point, this piece is made of high quality materials and had no loose threads. The entire thing is fairly stretchy, but I still feel like if you're pushing any of the measurements you might want to re-think your purchase.

I personally really like the detail around the top of the bust and the bows on the sides of the straps, and feel like they really add to an otherwise fairly bland article of lingerie. While it has no underwire support and the straps are a bit stretchy, I felt like the slight give of the material allowed for some light bust support.

Overall
Overall, I really feel like this is a 5 star product for the price. While it won't last forever and it is one size fits all, I feel like the measurements are accurate and the cut is flattering on me. For a cheap way to boost a special evening, this is my recommendation.
