Spiderweb tie top set - bed jacket by Leg Avenue - review by Miss Cinnamon

I've been begging my boyfriend to let me review lingerie ever since EF made lingerie available for reviews. It's not like he doesn't have his own contributor account. He just likes to watch me play with toys. "Sexy clothes", he said, "just get in the way of sex."

And then he saw the Spiderweb Lace Tie-Top with Shorts set on EdenFantasys.

"Get this," he urged. "It would look so hot on you!"

I responded with an epic facepalm.

For all that trouble, however, the Spiderweb Lace Tie Top Set is definitely worth it. It arrived in a padded mailing envelope, packaged in 6" x 8.75" plastic bag with a cardboard case/insert depicting a rather comely blond lass wearing the outfit. The set itself was folded neatly inside.

I put the top on first, marveling at how well it fit. I've read another customer review on this product by a larger woman who said that the one-size-fits-all outfit fit her well. I'm tall but not very curvy at all, so I worried that it wouldn't fit me. However, my worries were in vain. The top doesn't fit like a second skin, but it clings tightly to what curves I do have, making me feel smoky and sexy immediately. The top ties right between the breasts, bunching up the lacy fabric right around the bust and letting the rest of the material fall free around the waist, revealing a good wedge of cleavage and tummy. The long sleeves end about three inches above the wrist and a rough triangle of the spiderweb lace falls down over the back of the hand when the arm is relaxed. I really like how the sleeve falls, as I have had tops with similar sleeves but the triangle of fabric falls awkwardly. The clothing tag is set right behind the left breast, a little under the arm, where the band of a bra would go. It is white, so some may wish to remove the tag before wearing in public.

The shorts were next. I was a little put-off when I saw that the shorts didn't have a cotton crotch. I was hoping for a little strip of black cotton or something, but alas! All that would come into contact with my kitty was the lacy fabric which, while pretty, is rather rough down there and chafes sensitive skin. The shorts themselves looked fantastic. Like the top, they accentuated my curves and showed off my freshly-shaven kitty, which my boyfriend was very enthusiastic about. The shorts are also amazing for showing off your ass. The black elastic that keeps the shorts on your hips (until your very enthusiastic lover rips them off) is 1 cm in width and it doesn't pinch your skin so there are no unsightly elastic marks to worry about. I'm considering wearing a thong or g-string under these shorts the next time I show the outfit off. The lacy see-through material is perfect for coupling the spiderweb set with a sexy bra and panties if you don't feel like baring all.

Although the fabric seems relatively hardy, it is still lacy and therefore needs a little more care in washing. The cleaning instructions on the package and on the outfit say that the set should be hand washed separately and drip dried. No bleaching! Also keep in mind that this set is made from nylon, so whatever restrictions apply to nylon, apply to the top and shorts.

Overall, I am very excited about my first set of lingerie from EF. The edges of the fabric are finished so I don't have to worry about unraveling. My only qualm is the uncomfortable crotch on the shorts. However, they do say that the effectiveness of lingerie is inversely proportional to how long it takes before it is shed. As I hardly kept this outfit on for more than five or six minutes, I must admit that this outfit is very, very effective.
