Short, super skinny with big boobs? No? Skip It.

For the woman who is under 5'5" with big breasts and a tight stomach, this is the best investment you can make, I'm pretty sure. But then again, perhaps if you try it on, you'll find another way in which it doesn't work.

Pros
Good quality materials, G string is great
Cons
Not meant for most female bodies, not flattering to the small-breasted or the non-stick pin thin.

useful review
I'm not entirely sure who is meant to wear the DreamGirl halter dress but it certainly wasn't me.

For background: I've got an athletic body, the kind that can rock some tight biker shorts and a sports bra with ease. Because of the tiny little boobies that accompany hard abs and ripped arms, I wear plenty of shirts with bust lines that plunge all the way to my stomach and it looks quite decent. In fact, because of my flat-chestedness, I can get away with some crazy get-ups.

So, using deduction, I assumed the plunging bust line of this dress would look just as good. Wrong. It didn't. Not on me and not on my BFF who's a stick-thin model and dancer. And it wasn't going to begin to work for my other BFF (shut up, I only have two) who's got smoking hot curves: it would have been just ridiculous.

It looked plain silly, especially with the chiffon skirt. Puffing out unnecessarily from the bottom like bed ruffle it added unwanted volume and only served to accentuate the lack of chest endowments above it. Even though I got a medium it was an onerous squeeze job to get into that thing and then it squished down what breasts I do have, leaving me looking like a cylindrical little sausage roll with frilly packaging.

Even if I'd ordered a large (a size in which I would normally have enough extra room to smuggle groceries) it wouldn't have helped the fact it was too short. The dress was clearly designed for someone with a much shorter torso, as the "skirt" portion started above my belly button.

The materials are definitely quality and the g string that accompanied it looked perfect, but I'd refrain from getting something like this without having tried it on first.
Follow-up commentary
A good friend of mine who is much thinner, and tends to look amazing in everything she wears, wore this much more successfully than I; but it still looks awkward. At first I suspected that if she and I were more busty, it would look better. But, it's unclear how a person could wedge into this outfit if they had anything for a chest. I like it in theory, and assume someone out there will rock it hardcore, but it's not me and it's evidently not my super tall, thin friend either.

Interesting - it's just so hard to gauge when different people have different opinions on what's thin, what's not and all that though. I wish shopping online for clothes was easier!

I always fail ordering lingerie on line. Sizes never seem to be real. My mental image of you in this gave me a good laugh!
