Sinner's Paradise - costume discontinued by DreamGirl - review by TameTemptress

Perfect for when you're in the mood for some mischievous fun, be it dressing up for Halloween night in the bedroom, or any other night you feel like playing the part of a devilishly good lover. This costume lingerie is incredibly inexpensive, considering you get a babydoll chemise, thong and a head piece for under $25.


This is packaged in a small, thin, pillow-style cardboard box, featuring a model wearing the outfit. It is made by Dreamgirl. I will add photos of the packaging at the end (if I can figure out how, haha).


While I do enjoy a little role play, and dressing up now and then, I purchased this with the intention of only wearing the red chemise. I liked the red color and the details seemed as though they would compliment my hourglass figure. Indeed the chemise is very flattering, though it certainly lacks in any amount of support. This is not a problem for me, though I could see how it might be for those with larger chests (I have a B/C cup, not quite a C, but a rather full B, haha). I digress, while I purchased this intending to only wear the chemise, I was a bit disappointed to find that the tail is not removable and I don't think I could remove it without ruining the dress. I had though I might be able to snip it off if it was not removable, like I do with most of the bows on lingerie. Oh, well.


The chemise is a beautiful shade of red, and it is sheer. While you can tell it's sheer from the product photos, it's much more sheer than I was expecting from the photos of this on the model. It's mesh, but comfortable and soft. It has a halter top that ties at the back of your neck. I love the ruching down the front, and the ruffles added a nice feminine touch. It has quite a bit of give to it, very stretchy. There is not much bust support, and the cups are demi cups, so they are very low. As mentioned, the tail is part of the chemise. It has a wire so you can shape it however you like. It comes curled, so that it will lay flat in the packaging. I was a bit worried that the tail would be uncomfortable if I was still wearing the chemise and went to lay down, but it pushes flat easily enough and the wire didn't poke me enough to bother me. There is a cute little heart at the end of the tail. I purchased the Plus Size. This size states it will fit 165-275 pounds, and it fit me well. I don't weigh myself often, but I fluctuate between 180-200 pounds. My measurements are 44" bust, 36" waist, and 44" hips.


The thong is just your basic, red thong. It matches, and it's not the most comfortable in my opinion, but that's really all I have to say about it.


The headband...while cute, I could take it or leave it. It's not the best quality, but considering the price of this set, I wasn't expecting perfection. It ties around at the back of your neck. If you want it to stay put, you'll probably need to use a couple of bobby pins. The horns don't stay up very well, right out of the package. I doubt they'll be the center of attention with this get up, though they are a cute touch and add to the look.


I have only tried hand washing this in cold water, and line drying as per the instructions. While I will throw most lingerie (even against washing instructions) in the washing machine on a gentle/delicate cycle, I'm not sure the fabric could hold up very well in the washing machine. So far it has held up very well with hand washing and air drying, and I expect that if I continue caring for it that way, it will last a long time.

This is such a cute little set. I haven't been able to get the tail off, but it's great when I'm feeling a little naughty and want to play around. The husband thinks it's cute! It has held up very well, though to be honest I don't wear it very often.
