The dress comes in four colors, and hugs your body to accentuate your curves in the right way. Wear this dress with pantyhose, thigh-highs, or bare legs for a formal occasion, or pair it with leggings, fishnets, knee-high boots, for a more casual look.
Design / Craftsmanship / Material / Size / Fit
The Indigo Novak Mini Dress by Forplay, comes in sizes: extra small, small, medium, large, extra large, and is available in the colors Indigo (blue), red, white and black. The dress contains three labels, two at the top on the back: the ForPlay logo tag, and a small black tag with sizing (XL). The third label is located on the side of the inside dress, sewn into the stitching, and it contains the fabric breakdown, as well as the washing instructions. The fabric breakdown is 92% polyester, and 8% spandex.
Starting from the top of the dress you will notice that the bust area drops down into a "V" type of shaping, that cross over to create cleavage. The shaping of the bra portion are triangular in shape for each breast, and are nicely lined inside with a little padding. Measuring from the top of each bust to between the breasts where the fabric meets, it measures 9" in length. There is an extra layer of fabric that's built in below the bust region, creating a look of possibly a belt. It crosses into the cleavage portion, and brings your eyes directly to that region. It has a slimming effect. Measuring just below the bust it's 29" around, without stretching. The fabric can easily be stretched quite a bit, to fit someone up to 38" around.
The main feature to the dress, is that the straps have a gorgeous metal accent, that has kind of an "8" like shaping. The metal is silver in color, and the color looks almost like it's sterling silver in nature. It looks like a thick sterling silver chain that's wrapped around forming an "8", and it contains multiple diamond-like crystals. The width of the silver portion is 2", and the length is 2.5".
The actual straps for the dress are wide enough in nature, that you could actually wear a bra if needed. Keep in mind that it's a low cut in the front, so it would require a low cut bra. The width of the fabric portion of the straps are 4.5", however, the fabric is pleated, and when it's on, they measure about 2" in width.
The whole dress is gorgeous when it comes to the attention to detail. There is pleating all the way down both sides, as well and directly down the middle in both the front and the back. The pleating causes a nice ruffle bunching effect, that helps camouflage any body imperfection. Measuring the length of the dress from below the bust is 20". Since the fabric has the pleated effect, the fabric is actually longer if stretched to the max. You can easily wear this as a super short mini, or stretch it to look a little longer.
The back of the dress fits high enough that it would hide the back of a bra. The back measures 21.5" in length, so it actually fits higher then the front.

Experience
I purchased quite a few items from Forplay the last time I placed an order, and I have to honestly say that this is my favorite out of the bunch. I still have quite a bit of product reviews to submit, so stay tuned for them! The dress actually helps hide my hanging skin in the front, and the dark color definitely helped as well. Wearing this dress I need to wear a bra, and would like to invest in a lower cut in the front so that it can't be seen. The photos of me in the dress you will see a bit of my bra, sorry about that... a low cut push-up bra would be best.
Care and Maintenance
This item you will want to wash by hand in cool water, and use a detergent that is mild. I personally like to use zero for my lingerie. You will also want this item to air dry, hang it on a hanger to keep it's shape.
Packaging
When it comes to the packaging of this dress, it reminds me of picking up an item from the dry cleaners. Why you may ask? Because it comes on a white plastic hanger, and has a clear plastic garment bag hanging to protect it. The only difference with this, is that the clear plastic bag has the Forplay logo written on it, and a hazard warning for children. The bag wasn't sealed, but it did protect the dress, and is perfect for storing and hanging it in your closet.
The hanger is just a cheap plastic hanger, however, it does it's job well enough. The original cardboard tag comes attached to the Forplay label, and has a model on the front that is modelling a different garment. It says on the front "Born in Hollywood", which seems to be their slogan. On the back of the cardboard tag, it's white in color with the Forplay logo, and the sizing listed.

Out of all the dressed that I've purchased from Eden Fantasys, this is by far my favorite. I love how it hides any imperfections that I have, and it's actually slimming. Excellent quality, it's still holding up strong.
