Caged heat cami and thong - camisole set discontinued by DreamGirl - review by Kissy

The Caged Heat Cami and Thong by Dream Girl came in a nice sealed plastic garment bag. The item was hanging on a Dream Girl plastic hanger inside the bag, and was presented well. I will be storing this item in the original packaging in the closet along with the rest of my Dream Girl collection! (Starting to add up!)

I am typically a size small-medium. I wear size 4-6 in dresses and jeans. I have a 34D bust. For this Dream Girl piece, I ordered the medium. It was a good choice. It fit well on the cami and thong. The only issue was that the neck webbing was a bit big. I feel like the webbing would always be kind of bunchy on most people,v unless it was adjustable.

The cami is made of stretch coated microfiber with spandex. It is very stretchy and accommodating. The cami has corset-like lines from top to bottom (2 in the front, 2 in the back), which give the cami some detail.


The top portion is the real eye catcher. The lattice neckline detail is almost like a spider web to me. There are three main triangle sections of strands and it makes the whole outfit! HOT HOT HOT! The strands are about as big as a side thong strap. The strands don't lay completely flat on my chest area, but puff up in a a few spots.

The strands are connected at the neck to form a collar-like look. It fits around the base of your neck. The collar is connected with a simple hook in the back (similar to the bra strap hook on bras with removable straps). The back of the neck collar there are two bra straps that are adjustable. There are also two hanger straps that you can cut off if they are bothersome.

The bra cups are small, but cover the nipples when adjusted right. If I want the webbing to lie flattest, the bra cups are pulled down too far to cover my nipples though. I prefer to wear it covering the nipples with a little of the webbing bunched up. There is no underwire or padding, but it does have a seam right under the cup which holds your boobs somewhat in place.


The cami comes with a matching thong. The thong is more unique than many of the typical black thongs that come with outfits. The thong has a double strap detail that connects on the side. It is very flattering and doesn't dig into the skin as much as a single strap elastic band would. It is thick and sturdy and comes with a panty liner on the inside. I was pleasantly surprised by the quality of the thong!

This cami is a little tricky to put on. It took a few seconds for me to figure out where my arms go! There are so many straps at the top! After you get it over your head and your arms in between the right straps, you have to fasten the neck. It is fairly easy though, just like a strapless bra strap.

Material/Texture:
Material: 80% poleyester 20% spandex

Despite a few runaway strands of thread, this item seems well put together and durable. It stretches well and after tugging on it a bit, it goes back to normal. The wet-look feel can be slightly sticky, but is soft and very comfortable.

This outfit is very light weight and can be folded up in a ball for easy travel!

Personal Experience :
The neckline detailing on this cami has won me over. I love the sexy look of the lattice neckline. Although it is a little loose and bunches up some, it doesn't matter much - it's not like I am standing in place when I am wearing this! If I really cared enough, I could take it upon myself to cut it in a couple of places and re-sew. But like I said, it is not that bad. It is nice that the back straps are adjustable though!

This outfit is great for role play situations and teasing. My husband loves pulling the bra cups down and pulling my boobs through the neckline strands. I am not sure how it looks that way, but he seems to enjoy it... and I feel damn sexy!

Conclusion: ★★★★ (due to non adjustable straps)

Well, I am a sucker for the "wetlook". I gotta tell you... I am not into the 50-Shades stuff, but boy do I love looking like I am! "Wetlook" items are just freakin' sexy! There is no other way to explain it! I love this type of lingerie - you don't look like a little princess flower or a lace curtain. You just look damn sexy. And that is the point isn't it?

So, as you can imagine I still wear this often. I have yet to dry clean it. It isn't stinky or anything, so I am okay with that for now. The loose straps are not that big of a deal, because when I am wearing this, I am always moving! It is not like my husband would ever notice anyway. So I decided, the cons are not a big problem anymore, I just work with them!

I would say this has gone from a 4 star to a 5 star.
