Cupid's punk rock rabbit - rabbit vibrator by Mantric - review by PassionQT

Get ready to rock with Mantric's Punk Rock Rabbit from the UK company's "Cupid's Club" line (toy made in China). Rabbit groupies can go nuts for this wildly textured dual-action superstar, with its groovy twisting shaft and wickedly powerful clitoral stimulator. This is one that beginners or advanced fans alike will enjoy. Do not use anally and do not used on inflamed, swollen, or lacerated skin; the ticklers are very soft to the touch, but their texture could aggravate any pre-existing conditions.

MATERIAL & TEXTURE
The main shaft and clitoral stimulator portion of the toy are covered in a translucent, pink(or purple)tinted TPR sleeve. The latter is a versatile material because by itself, it's relatively safe and skin-friendly. Because TPR is semi-porous, a condom is recommended, especially if you are sharing, but it will also defeat the sensations this toy intends to provide.

The TPR has a very soft, rubbery, squishy feel to it, somewhat jelly-like. The grab is minimal, but it isn't extremely sticky feeling either.

The lower control unit/handle portion is plastic with an overlay of a velvety, matte coat finish, which gives it a classier, more luxurious feel and reduces slipping. The color coordinates with the sleeve.

SIZE & DESIGN
From the base of the handle to the tip of the shaft (excluding the top tickler), the toy is roughly 9-5/8" tall, with about 5 inches of that being insertable. The circumference is about 4-1/2 inches, excluding the nubs, because once inserted, they don't add to the girth since they will compress. The diameter is about 1-3/8 of an inch, and again, that's just the shaft. The controller portion is located in the handle, which is the lower 3-inch-end of the toy. The circumference of the latter is about 6-inches long and wide enough to maintain a firm grip on. It's not a lightweight toy, especially with 4-batteries inserted, but it is manageable.

The TPR sleeve, which covers the rotating shaft and clitoral bullet motor, is adhered to the handle with some type of glue, a tad of which is visibly dried up. At least that will keep fluids from getting to electrical components of the shaft and bullet motor.

There are two motors in the toy. The smallest is located in the tip of the shaft and the larger, more powerful one makes up the clitoral stimulator (2.5 inches long). The clitoral one is seated straight up, parallel to the main shaft, but does adjust to various anatomies due to the flexibility of the TPR.

The ticklers or nodules are located all over the shaft with a small cluster of longer ones located on the tip of the clitoral bullet. They range in length from 1/4 to 4/8 of an inch for the longest. They are soft, stretchy, with rounded tops.

FUNCTIONS
To operate the toy, the back of the handle slides off to reveal a removable, 4-AA battery holder, which MUST be inserted with the contacts on the lower outer edge for the toy to operate properly. I tried sliding the battery cover back on, but that didn't seem to work, so I discovered it snapped on instead (no directions included on operation).

Just under the bullet, on the front side of the toy (top side when inserted) are the control buttons and dials. The top two buttons control the power and direction of the twisting motion of the shaft, respectively. The two black dials below the buttons control the speed of the bullet motor and the twisting/vibrating action of the main shaft, respectively. Because the shaft can be angled, the user can enjoy a smaller or larger arc of rotation and of course, a faster or slower rotation. The vibrations of the motor increase steadily from low to high. There are no patterns. You can use the bullet or twister separately or simultaneously for a variety of options. When activated, the ticklers on the clitoral stimulator vibrate much more than the ones on the main shaft, mainly because they are longer and the bullet motor is more powerful than the other. On the downside, it is very easy to unintentionally "trip the switches" so to speak with this toy because of the protruding controls.

CARE & CLEANING
Cleaning should be done with warm water and antibacterial soap or a toy cleaner. It was not hard to clean the toy at all because the shaft is smooth and the ticklers are widely spaced apart. Either a silicone or water-based lubricant will work well with this toy. Do store it so that it does not come in contact with other materials that the ticklers could stick to or get caught on. It's not a discreet nor quiet plaything, so keep that in mind.

NOTE OF CAUTION: Although the directions on the packaging state: "do not insert, strictly not for anal use", I presume they meant to simply say "Do not insert anally", because this toy is designed to be inserted in the vagina! The directions also imply "if you have used underwater" but it is NOT waterproof! Rather, I think they were trying to say that if it gets wet during cleaning, make sure the insides dry out.

At first glance I thought the clitoral stimulator would not hit my spot well, but because the shaft itself is able to be manipulated and flexed at a fixed curved angle, the bullet snuggled nicely against my clitoral area. The "V" portion where the bullet attaches to the main shaft is stretchy so it will adjust to different anatomies; however, it could also be more prone to tearing.

I do recommend using a good amount of lubrication with this toy, as that will make the toy easier to insert, and more comfortable during play, especially with all the ticklers. Once inserted, I slightly noticed the shaft nodules, but not nearly as much as the ones on the clitoral teaser, especially once I cranked the power up to high. They felt great and had me cumming in no time.

Even though the intensity of this toy was pleasurable, the nubby sleeve eventually did it in. Cleaning it was easy, but the sleeve won't last forever due to the composition of the material (easily affected by coming in contact with other incompatible materials). It's a good idea, fun toy, but not an investment piece.
