Cute, yet Clever!
I've only had it a few weeks, but I'm hoping it lasts at least a few years, and I'll feel that I got my money worth. The ridges make it more difficult to clean than a smooth vibe, but just use some nice soap and really wash it down.Published: February 22, 2011
Pros:
attractive, comfortable
Cons:
I wish it had more programmable functions, and I wish the clitoral vibe was stronger.
After my trusty Wild G rabbit died, I chose this as the replacement. I bought it at a local shop and it was about $10 more than the price listed. So in my mind it's defnitely a bump up in price category, which was expected given that this is 100% silicone, and portions of it are made in Germany instead of China. I love the material and the unusual color and form. The caterpillar's 'bumps' are an interesting kind of stimulation, but the beads aren't quite firm or pronounced enough to give great g-spot stimulation. The playful form makes it less intimidating if you're interested in using this in front of, or with your partner - it really does feel like a toy! It also has NO odor and is pleasantly soft yet firm.
It differs from my previous vibe in two key ways: the clitoral vibrations are not as strong, and the shaft is slightly longer yet not as thick. I have to insert it more than I'm used to for it to make contact. The vibrations also decrease once turning on the rotation. It needs a lot of (water based!) lube for it to feel comfortable that deep inside me. The rotation is louder than I expected and sounds a bit like grinding!
I expected to like this a lot more than I did right off the bat, although I've warmed up to it after using it for a while. Maybe I'm partial to my Wild G, even though this does have its charms. In short, this really is a lot more like sex with a partner, because it takes time to build to an orgasm - rather than riding the super-powered express train. This can be an advantage if you like to delay your climax and get close to the edge before backing off.

realistic or non?
-
do you prefer realistic or non realistic vibes? i like the ones that don't look like penises but still have some familiar shape, such as this one

I have both realistic and non-realistic toys, and I find that the "heads" of realistic toys provide more stimulation for me most of the time. However, there are times when the shapes of my non-realistic toys are very stimulating as well. Guess it depends on the actual toy itself and my preference that day :-)

Good review. Just a bit of advice but a few more details on the technicals of the vibe.. comments on things like the length, various control functions etc would likely get you higher rated reviews.
Thanks for the pointer!
