I REALLY wanted to love this toy. I’ve been looking for a rechargeable vibe, but didn’t want to spend a billion dollars for one. I was hoping for a good, middle-of-the-road vibe to get me off and allow me to cut back on my above-average battery consumption. Sadly, I was left disappointed in the end by the Endless Love Rechargeable Vibe. This must be how Brooke Shields felt after her 1981 movie of the same title flopped.

Let’s start with my first impressions. Upon opening up the package, I was overwhelmed by noxious plastic fumes that, for some reason, I associate with a Malibu Barbie doll. I’m sure a number of you know what I’m talking about - this isn’t the first time I’ve smelled it from a brand new toy, but I’ve never been hit so hard! I immediately cleaned the toy, hoping this would help a little. I then plugged the charger into the wall and was greeted with a high pitch squealing sound. It wasn’t loud, but it wasn’t pleasant either. After trying a couple of different outlets and deciding it was the charger and not something on my end, I plugged it into an outlet in the guest room and prayed for strong vibes!

After sufficient charging time, I grabbed some lube and optimistically took this baby to bed. After making sure I understood the control panel, which is very easy to operate during use, I checked to see if this vibe could cut it when it really mattered.

Overall, there were some pros and cons to my experience. I mean, I got off so I can’t complain too much. I was impressed with the different vibration patterns:  they included a couple of standards every toy should have and a couple of unique pulsing and escalating patterns I’ve never come across and really liked. The overall vibration wasn’t outstanding, but was sufficient and it didn’t lose its power while I was playing.

I wasn’t impressed with the fact that the vibration is strongest in the middle of the shaft. This may be perfect for someone who really likes internal vibration, but I was just left wishing that the buzz was stronger at the tip.

I may be a sex toy snob, but I just couldn't get down with the jelly material this product was made of. First there was the smell I mentioned before. Secondly, it seemed like there was some sort of film on this vibrator that did not make me want to put it near my most precious bits. If this was my first toy I may not have given it a second thought, but I've got a drawer full of silicone and steel and was a bit worried about what chemicals were about to enter my body. On a positive note, the material did transfer vibration well!

Overall, I feel like the plan for this product was great, but the execution just doesn’t do it justice. It’s not a bad toy, but I would suggest that anyone who’s looking for a rechargeable best friend spend a little more money on a higher-quality toy.
