Good Vibrations, But Hard to Use

The Metal Bound i4 is an interesting take on the rabbit vibrator that very nearly hits its target. Unfortunately, it still misses, but not so badly it's not worth considering.

Use

This jelly-sleeved mini-rabbit is obviously meant for, and really doesn't have any use but, vaginal/clitoral stimulation. It's not especially great for couples' play, so I'd really recommend this as a "Special By Myself Time" toy - that is, as long as the toy is something that works well for you. It doesn't work very well for me, I'm afraid.

Material / Texture

The sleeve is made of a very soft, jelly-like TPR material, which does not reek like Jelly and has yet to irritate my very sensitive feminine bits. There was no noticeable smell to the toy and it tasted like I'd licked something made of plastic, which is to be expected.

This soft material is fine for both beginners and advanced, but to be honest it really doesn't do much for me. It feels a little bit too squishy.

It feels sticky to the touch, and is somewhat porous so be careful if you plan to share this toy, and use a condom.

Design / Shape / Size

It's got a very strange shape: a huge bulbous head, the circumference of which is lined with an embedded metal ring "for extra stimulation"; a tiny, squishy, tentacle-like clit stimulator at the bottom; and a few wavy undulating curves on the shaft. Let's be fair - this toy looks a little odd.

Unfortunately the clit stimulation did not work well for me. The entire toy itself was basically a complete tease - it did its best but it was VERY difficult to get me off with this, whereas with most "rabbit-like" toys it is quite easy. This comes down to the fact that it is not a purpose-designed rabbit toy - it's a rabbit-toy sleeve over a standard (but powerful!) stick vibrator.

It is about 6" long total, where about 4" are insertable. The clit stimulator is about an inch and looks like either a tentacle or a toothbrush.

Functions / Performance / Controls

It operates by a push button and has several different modes of vibration (low, med, high, pulse), and to be fair the vibration is nice and strong. It feels pretty good, but just not enough of it is transferred out to the clitoris, and an almost uncomfortable amount of the vibration is INTERNAL.

Unfortunately, I just couldn't get "there" with this toy. None of the times I tried. It made for a good warm-up in a lot of ways, because it got me "close" and then just couldn't finish the job - not through any fault of design, but because the type of stimulation I desire when I'm getting off is not able to be provided by this.

If you like strong internal vibration, this toy could make your g-spot pretty happy though, with that nice big bulbous head - it really feels filling, too.
    • Hard to figure out
    • Multiple settings
    • Not discreet at all

Care and Maintenance

The TPR sleeve and the vibrator are not attached, so the TPR sleeve may be removed for cleaning. I suggest cleaning with a toy cleaner or mild soap and water, given that any other treatment will ruin the soft material. The vibrator portion is easy to clean, and can be sanitized with alcohol or washed with soap and water.

Store this away from other toys, as while it is not jelly, it could react with something. Make sure it is dry before you put it away. I keep mine wrapped in a paper towel to protect from lint and dust.
    • Hard to clean
    • High maintenance
Follow-up commentary
This was going to be a "I still don't like it" as I noticed the squishy sleeve slips off so easily and was starting to get little tears... But then I realized what an awesome plain stick vibrator this is with the sleeve off. STRONG vibrations, different levels, pulsing, and push-button controls? Screw the sleeve, I'm leaving it off and I like it more already!

Very good review! The shape doesn't look like something I'd enjoy and I'd definitely need more clitoral stimulation though!

Yeah, I don't think this would work that well for me. I need a powerful clit stimulator. The unique shaft shape and tip on this one interest me, though. Thanks for the awesome review!
