Mood powerful vibrator small - discreet vibrator by Doc Johnson - review by VeganChick (is Gone)

Doc Johnson made a winner with this one. The Mood vibrator is a small, clitoral vibrator that packs a punch. You can use it to stimulate any external area you like, but it is so small that I think it is really best on your clit. You can put this in your vagina and use it as a bullet if you want to, but I don’t know how great that would be. Do not put this in your ass, because it WILL get lost. Mood is waterproof, so you can take it in the bath or shower.

Mood is made of ABS plastic, which according to the box is phthalate-free and latex-free. Eden gives plastic an eight on its material safety scale. This plastic has a "velvet touch", and is very smooth and soft with no drag. It is very firm and rigid with no give. There is a design on the toy, but it is not raised and provides no texture. The toy has a slight plastic odor, but you can't really smell it unless you put it up to your nose, and it fades with time and washings. This material is so beginner friendly, as it is smooth, welcoming and easy to clean.

I ordered the purple color, and it is a bit pinker in person. It has beautiful gray swirls that go around it, and stop at one part where the PowerBullet logo is written. It is in raised print and in the same color, so you can't really see it.

The Mood is very small; it is pretty much the exact same size as my index finger. I measured the toy and found its entire length to be about 3 1/4 inches long, the vibrating part to be about 2 1/2 inches long, and the circumference to be about 2 1/2 inches. It fits in your hand perfectly, and is very travel-friendly. You could easily put this toy in your purse or bag, whatever works for you. Because it is so small, you can easily hide this in a drawer or sock. I don't think it is discreet, people are going to know what it is when they see it. But since it is so small and easy to hide, I doubt anyone is going to come across it.

Mood is very beginner-friendly. I would definitely recommend this toy for someone just starting out with clitoral vibrators. I'm not new to clit vibes, but I thought this toy was so cute and it was on sale for eleven dollars, so I went ahead and got it. It is cute and welcoming, and I don't think any beginner could go wrong with it. Some people who are more into high-end toys may not care for this one, but I think it's great.

Mood against Mia 2:

The Mood runs on a single AAA battery and is very easy to work. The bottom of the Mood has a cap that screws off where you insert the battery. The cap has a ring on it that keeps water out of the battery compartment. After you have inserted the battery, you can turn the toy on. It has only one button on top of the cap. This button is very soft and easy to press, and is a little rubbery feeling. It doesn't feel like a real click when you press it, but you can sort of feel it if you concentrate.

The Mood has seven functions:
1) Low steady vibration
2) Medium steady vibration
3) High steady vibration
4) High vibrations that fade in and out
5) Fast VIBE-VIBE-VIBE, very soft vibe, fast VIBE-VIBE-VIBE, repeat
6) Fast VIBE-VIBE-VIBE-VIBE continuously pulsing
7) Even faster VIBE-VIBE-VIBE-VIBE continuously pulsing
You have to cycle through all the vibrations to turn the toy off, which is kind of pain. All of the patterns produce vibrations in the whole toy, minus the cap, but are most intense in the tip. The vibes are pretty strong, 1 is 2 vrooms, 2 is 3 vrooms, and 3 is 4 vrooms. They are pretty buzzy, but I don't think they are bad buzzy. At its highest it reaches about 2 1/2 bees.

I have found the Mood's waterproof capabilities up to par.

Button:

The Mood is very easy to clean, just wash it with warm water and soap. These are the only instructions that the product comes with, but Eden says that plastic can be cleaned by wiping it down with alcohol. This toy isn't a lint magnet, so you can just dry it with a regular towel afterwards. Unfortunately, it does not come with a storage container. You can put it back in the box if you want, or you may want to wrap it in something or stick it in a sock. I just store mine in my bedside drawer on top of another toy bag so that it doesn't get scratched. Whatever you do, just make sure you take the battery out first.

You can use silicone or water-based lubricants on this toy.

There is a little sticker on the cap that says to close the cap tightly, so please make sure you do so before using, storing, or washing.

The Mood comes in a rectangular box with a clear front where you can see the toy. There are lots of colorful dots on the box, and on the back the dots serve to inform you about the toy. I have taken a picture so you can see, and I actually think this system is really cool. It has different categories with different colored dot options that are marked. When you open the box, you can pull out the plastic molding that holds the vibrator. That is all there is to the packaging. I thought it was all quirky and cute, but I wouldn't use it for storage because it is kind of bulky given the size of the toy, and it's also a bit flimsy. It is not discreet, as you can see the actual vibrator inside it.

This toy looks like it may be a cheap piece of junk, but I really like it. It is pretty sturdy construction and it doesn't squeak when you unscrew the cap like some other vibrators do. I have clocked about 45 minutes on it so far and the battery is still going strong. It's so cute and inexpensive; why wouldn't you want it?
