If You Desire a Petite Rabbit

G-spot and clitoral vibrator by Toy's heart

Published: November 13, 2008
extremely useful review
The Desire rabbit is a great choice for those looking for a more petite dual action vibrator. The fans on the clit stimulator provide a more diffuse vibration while the head rotates to hit the G-spot very well. While this can be loud on the highest rotation settings, it packs quite a punch for 4-AAA batteries. The Desire makes a great beginner dual action vibrator or is perfect for someone who prefers toys on the petite side.
Pros:
Phthalates-free, separate controls for rotations and vibrations, no animal shapes
Cons:
Warms up during use, a little hard on batteries, can be difficult to clean
This toy was definitely designed
I stared down at the package when it arrived. This Desire rabbit, by Toy’s Heart, comes in a thin plastic container. There’s a warning label, a battery insertion guide, and a couple other things. Problem is that I don’t read Japanese. I pulled the rabbit out of the box and out of the plastic it was wrapped in.

The Desire is a smaller rabbit, with a 4 ¼” insertable length and a 4 ¼” circumference. I usually use toys that are larger and was quite happy with this smaller one. It hit all of the right spots and I needed a lot less lube. The four included AAA batteries pack quite a punch in this petite toy. The battery compartment opens by pressing in hard on the tab closer to the base. The Desire has both a vibrating clitoral stimulator and a rotating shaft that are powered by two independent slide controls.

The clitoral stimulator has soft fans, five to be exact, that get larger as they approach the body of the toy. The design is great if you like a little more diffuse vibrations. Because of the fans' horizontal positioning above the clit, these are not pinpoint vibrations.

The smooth rotating shaft spins quite rapidly at its highest setting. The spinning is most noticeable at the head. The placement of the head of the toy was perfect length for hitting my G-spot. I was squeezing my PC muscles pretty hard when I came and the rotations kept going--a plus with any rabbit vibe.

A downfall of this rabbit is that it is pretty loud. It could be heard through a door on the highest setting! But this provides a lot of power, so it’s a sacrifice I’m willing to make. I did notice that the rotations and vibrations did slow down a little if they were both turned up all of the way. This wasn’t a problem for me. It also did start to warm up after about 20 minutes of use, but it was mostly towards the base and didn’t cause a problem.

Desire is made out of phthalates-free elastomer. You can use both silicone and water-based lubricants--a plus for me as silicone lubes are my favorite. I clean my Desire using Before and After toy cleaner. You could use a mild soap, but as the control panel is pretty open, I wouldn’t risk getting water inside it. It also takes a little time to clean between the fans on the clitoral stimulator. Because elastomer cannot be sterilized, if you plan on sharing, make sure to cover it with a condom.

The Desire rabbit is a good choice for those looking for both a rotating shaft and a clitoral stimulator, but want something more on the petite side. Its strong vibrations on my clit and rotating head on my G-spot quickly sent me over the moon.

This is a cute little dual action toy! I wish it had rotating pearls; it'd really tempt me then.

I actually prefer the rotating head over the rotating pearls. :)
