Jenna’s Kitty Caress Vibe is convenience manifest in vibrator form. The little thing is not much longer than a fork and takes up about the same amount of room in a toy chest, carry-on bag or purse. It’s as easy to hold in your hand as a marker and even the dimmest bulbs can figure out how to turn it on and change settings within seconds. Even starting off with the lowest setting gives you a robust quality buzz, although the next higher settings are not dramatically stronger.

My adorable baby blue Kitty Caress angered me at first because I wanted to use it immediately but didn’t have any AAA batteries, only my huge artillery of AAs. I was also a little worried by the instructions, which are available in approximately a dozen different languages, as they were made for some general idea of a sex toy and not this one in particular. In fact, the rendering of the battery compartment was completely and totally different than the actual Kitty Caress battery chamber.

But, fortunately, the actual vibe is idiot proof. The bottom unscrews, you pop two batteries in and press on the bottom to get it roaring. For a handy travel vibe, the Kitty Caress will work just dandy, fulfilling all basic clitoral stimulation needs. For penetration, this is an acceptable but non-stellar option simply because it's not its primary design purpose. It’s an excellent choice for a sex toy beginner with its cutesy colors, non-intimidating size, delightfully soft and smooth texture and the seal of approval from none other than Jenna herself.

As a person who prefers vibrators with the kind of strength and intensity that one normally associates with diesel-powered vehicles, this was not my all-time favorite. The lowest setting starts out quite promising but subsequent increases in intensity are not incredibly strong. It was, though, capable of getting the job done and one that will likely accompany me on outings and trips.
