The Kitty Caress is a clitoral massager. Due to the shape and contours of this product, that is what I recommend for your use, also. If you so desire, you may also use this product for insertion. It truly is not shaped for comfort like a dildo. I did not use on any other part of my body, but this is not to say you couldn't try it. The end used to stimulate you is contoured so that it will sit nicely on against your body while you massage your clit. The other end is the button which gives you 3 vibration options which are soft, medium and slightly high. This does not have very strong vibrations but works well when also used while massaging the area.

I love the velvet touch that this and many other products are made from. It is soft to the touch and slides nicely against your skin. Plus, it is one of the easiest materials to clean. There is no smell or taste at all to this product.

There is a gently rounded cradle on the tip that is shaped to nestle between the labia and against the clit, which makes this a fun new toy for anyone. It is 6 1/4 inches long, the insertable length is 5", the circumference is 3 1/2" the diameter is 1 1/8" and the weight is 0.2 lb. Between the rounded cradle and the on/off is where all the length is. The on/off switch is located on the base of the shaft and has 3 speeds. It says it offers soft, medium and strong vibrations, but I found that the strongest of the vibrations was mild at best.

There is no display on this toy, so if you get too into it you can easily forget which setting you are on. There are 3 vibrating functions, the button is located on the bottom of the wand. It is a multi-speed, the 3 speeds are soft, medium and strong. The other great thing about the kitty caress is it is waterproof. It is powered by 2 AAA batteries. I think that it would have more power if it were powered by AA batteries. The AAA batteries get the job done but if you need stronger vibrations I would not recommend this toy for you. The AAA's do help with one thing though, it is rather discreet. If you are in the same room you can hear it, but outside of that room you would never know what was going on!

The Kitty Caress can easily be cleaned with antibacterial soap and hot water or by wiping down with isopropyl alcohol, if needed, for a deeper clean. It is very easy to clean. There are very few ridges for bacteria to live in, also, with this being waterproof you don't have to worry about submerging the toy in order to get it clean. With it's size it is very easy to hide in a drawer or toy box! Would be a great item for the Hide You Vibe Zipper Pillow!

As with most lower end vibrators the packaging is clear plastic. You can see the toy through the packaging. You could use the packaging as storage if you had no other way to store it, though because it is plastic, it will not last for long. It came with instructions for how to insert the batteries, the downfall is the instructions are for numerous toys so you do have to look for the one for your particular toy. If you do give this toy as a gift, I recommend gift wrapping!

The first couple of uses I did find I had to kind of find how it would work for me. I require a stronger vibration, but did find that I could have satisfaction with help from another toy or during foreplay. The other way I have found it works for me is while vibrating, rub gently like you would if you weren't using a toy.
