Likeable Little Lia

Sometimes good things do come in small packages! The Lia Twin Teaser is such an example. Offering an array of patterns with moderately intense speeds and a velvety soft silicone body, this lavender love wand is a fairly safe bet for the more conservative shopper, but it still managed to surprise even this size and power queen.

extremely useful review
Little Lia From Cal Exotics is a solid performing rabbit-style vibrator, well-suited for pretty much any level, but it would especially make a good first dual stimulator purchase for a beginner that isn't looking to be overwhelmed with power and/or stuffed with a massive toy. What it lacks in girth, it doesn't lose in length, which is why I think I was able to orgasm much quicker than I anticipated.

MATERIAL
Lia is made from a smooth, non-porous, lavender-colored, odorless and tasteless silicone (looks more bluish though). It has some drag and, if required, will need some water-based lubrication. Cleaning need only be done with an antibacterial cleanser and warm water or, if you wish, a 10% bleach solution spritzed on the toy for an occasional dose sterilization for the ultra cautious. Because Lia is waterproof, it can be safely submerged while cleaning or during playtime in the bath or shower.

SIZE
Lia's length was actually perfect for me, with about 4.5 inches of the overall 8-3/4 inches of the toy being insertable, which is the same amount as my beloved Beaver, although Lia is 1/4" less thick in diameter. Nevertheless, it still provided enough length to bury and thrust deep inside of me while I ground the clitoral stimulator on its target until I climaxed - much to my surprise - since most "petite" toys have failed to get me off in the past.

DESIGN
Lia has the typical rabbit design, with the stronger motor in the main shaft and a much smaller and less powerful one in the clitoral attachment. The contact side of the main shaft is covered in thick ribs of uniform height and width to provide some texture, and the top half of the insertable portion is flexible for added comfort. The clitoral stimulator is a completely smooth, skinny, non-descript tentacle with a pointed tip that provides more pin-point clitoral stimulation. There's an ever-so-slight curve at the tip of the toy, so I wouldn't necessarily classify this as a G-spot stimulator. The lower plastic handle makes up the remaining 2-1/4 inches of the toy.

OPERATION & FUNCTIONS
The plastic handle twists off to insert two-AA batteries. The grooves must be re-aligned properly for it to close tightly and be waterproof. The function buttons are so small they are hardly noticeable at first. On the frontside of the toy there's a silicone pressure pad to power it on, and on the opposite side is one to cycle through the various modes. This picture shows what the power button looks like:

There's also a hole which goes through the toy just under the control buttons; however, for what purpose I couldn't tell you. Maybe it's so it can be turned in to a "toy on a rope" much like "soap on a rope" and hung in the shower?

The power of the toy is decent, with the intensity/frequency of the vibrations being a mix of rumbly at the lowest speed moving up to buzzy at the highest. The 10 functions are a mix of low, medium, and high constant vibrations, a fast pulsation, a few tapping combinations, followed by 3 different escalating patterns. If the power is turned off, the cycle starts again from the lowest setting. This toy has no lights, which honestly, don't really serve much of a purpose since it's very straightforward and simple to operate.

PACKAGING
Lia sits in a plastic mold inside a pliable plastic box. It's nothing fancy and clearly shows what's inside. The included manual contains general, universal directions for a variety of vibrators.
Experience
At first I thought "Oh no, this one is going to be way too small", but I really enjoyed it more than I thought I would. Even though it's not as thick as I like my vibrators, it's beautifully designed and very comfortable to use. I still don't think it will be a favorite, simply because I don't have any need for all the fancy pulsation modes.
Follow-up commentary
I don't use this one anymore, not that it was a bad toy, but it didn't have quite enough girth for me. I still think it is a solid choice for a beginner. Once you find something you LOVE though, it's really hard to get hooked on a new style of vibrator.
